The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placement opportunities are poor for the students of mechanical engineering and civil engineering. There is an average placement ratio for other branches like computer science and information technology. You can choose off-campus placements to get a good job. Many students choose to prepare for GATE, and some students prefer competitive exams.

Infrastructure: AKGEC has a very good infrastructure, and the campus is lush green. All the blocks are Wi-Fi enabled. There are two food canteens, and a cafeteria is available on the campus. Two large grounds for sports and gym facilities are available in the hostels. Volleyball, basketball and badminton courts are also available. There is an eco-friendly environment on the campus.

Faculty: AKGEC has a good ratio of faculty members, and they are well-educated. Some of them have industry experience, and many of them have even participated in many competitions. The syllabus is good, and you get everything in a well-managed way. You will get guidance from faculty members whenever it is required.

Other: There is no official annual fest at AKGEC. However, many events are organised by different societies of the college across the year.
