AIIMS Delhi MD Eligibility & Highlights 2025
AIIMS Delhi offers full-time MD in various specialisations at the PG level. Candidates applying to MD must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/ Practical training on or before July 30 of the year of admission.
Eligibility criteria: Candidate must hold MBBS degree of a university recognised by Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India with 55% aggregate marks in case of General & OBC and 50% aggregate marks in case of SC/ ST category
Selection criteria:
- Admission to MD is based on the scores obtained in INICET
- A total of 123 seats are offered under MD

To get admission in MD at AIIMS Delhi, candidates must hold MBBS degree of a university recognised by Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India with 55% aggregate marks in case of General & OBC and 50% aggregate marks in case of SC/ ST category. Admission is based on the scores obtained in INICET, followed by counselling.
AIIMS Delhi MD overall tuition fees is INR 750 - INR 2500. The fee structure inlcudes other components also. The total fees may differ at the time of payemnt due to the variables of the fee structure. The fee information is taken from the official/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.
The UG and PG students who get hostel at AIIMS Delhi campus are required to submit hostel fee from along with the tuition fee, every semester. For Junior residents, however, the hostel fee is deducted from salary. In addition to this, a hostel security deposit fee of INR 1,000 at the time of joining/ application. NO, AIIMS Delhi does not use NEET score for BSc Nursing admission. It conducts its own separate entrance exam for paramedical admission. The exam is conducted twice a year. It is usually conducted in May and Nov. Students need to prepare for this exam and not for NEET only.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is ranked 17th by NIRF, which makes it very competitive, though the cut-off is usually a shade lower than AIIMS Delhi. You still need a strong NEET UG rank to get in. No, AIIMS Delhi does not provide lateral entry for MBBS course. Students need to complete five-year course to get a degree. Students cannot apply through Diploma or other bachelor's degree. To get admission, students need to apply through NEET exam after completing Class 12.
