JEE (Main): The Joint Entrance Examination: Main (JEE-Main) is an Indian standardised computer-based test for admissions to various technical undergraduate programmes in Architecture and Planning and Engineering across colleges in India.
Category-based Scholarships for Undergraduate Programmes
- Differently Abled: Applicable as per the provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016, to all the categories of disabilities identified. A student with 40% permanent disability of the mentioned categories and with a Unique Disability ID from the Government of India will be considered for the scholarship.
- Defence and Paramilitary Quota: Children or dependents of Serving personnel; ex-servicemen; retired personnel and deceased personnel of Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road Organisation/ General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Military Engineering Services (MES) and Defence Security Corps (DSC) are eligible for scholarship.
- Sports International Level: A player who has represented India in any International Sports Competitions approved by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ SAI/ IOA/ FISU/ National Federation of Concerned Games approved by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ Association of Indian Universities/ School Games Federation of India are eligible for the scholarship. The student must obtain a certificate from the concerned authorities of the sport. The candidate should have participated and won in the international-level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
- Sports National Level: A student who has represented the state in any competition conducted between the last two consecutive calendar years at the national level in Individual/ Teams approved by the Ministry of Sports/ Sports Federation/ AIU is eligible for the scholarship. The student must obtain a certificate from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ National Federation/ Board of the concerned games only. The candidate should have participated and won in the national-level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
