The CAP Test application form is only available online. Candidates who want to apply for admission will have to register, apply and pay the application fee in order to appear for the online interview.

No, the college authorities Amrita School of Communication (ASCOM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, doesn't change the whole syllabus per se, however, they might make slight changes in the syllabus to incorporate the latest topics and current events. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification to understand the syllabus and the exam pattern of the CAP Test 2024.

Through CAP Test, applicants may get into the Communication programmes offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at their Coimbatore and/ or Kochi locations. 

CAP Test is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. They make their applications on their admissions portal. Eligible students can apply for it by paying an application fee or INR 500. However, if they wish to add programmes to their applications, they must pay an additional fee of INR 300 per programme. 

The questions in the CAP Test written exam will be based on the topics like English Grammer, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs, Important Personalities are asked in the exam. Candidates who prepare these topics will have a higher chances of qulaifying in the CAP Test 2024.

The exam duration of CAP Test entrance exam is 120 minutes. As the mode of examination is online, the exam will automatically end once 2 hours are over. Thereore, candidates will not get extra time to solve the CAP Test question paper.

As prescribed by the exam body, Amrita School of Communication (ASCOM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham the time duration of the CAP Test written exam is two hours/ 120 minutes. Candidates who fill in the application form will have to appear in the exam and qualify in it to secure a seat to pursue their mass communication course.

There are no defined sections in the test but the weightage among topics is explained in the table below. 

While taking the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's CAP Test, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. There is a total of 50 questions and no provision of negative marking.
