MCA in Cyber Security - Batch of 2026

About My College of 5 years spent .
Placements: Approximately 70% of students are placed in the MCA course. The top recruiting companies include Cisco, Caterpillar, SAP Labs, and others. The leading roles offered are Data Analyst, Software Developer, Software Development Assistant, and more. The lowest package is 5LPA, the average is 10 - 11 LPA, and the highest is 21LPA. About 55% of students secured internships through the MCA course, with companies such as Adobe, Cisco, and Deloitte participating.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available, but the limit is only 1GB. Classrooms and labs are kept clean and tidy, and there is not much crowd in the allocated classes. The washrooms are also neat and clean. As I am a day scholar, I have no personal experience of being in a hostel, but based on my friends’ reviews, I heard that the food and the hostel facilities are very good and well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, and all the faculty members are friendly and assist us in solving our doubts. As a Computer Science student, I find this course relevant, and this college helps prepare all students for the industry by providing advanced technical training and preparing them to face placement interviews with full confidence. A separate department for placements exists. The mid-term exam pattern in this college is moderate and helps us prepare for exams in advance.
Other: I have an interest in coding and learning more about it. With this, I also got the opportunity to opt for Cybersecurity, which increased my interest in the cyber field. The selection of electives in this college is minimal, which leads some students to take electives despite lacking interest in those subjects. We hope for more options in choosing electives. There are few events, only one or two, because they focus primarily on education.

MCA in AI, Data Science and Cyber Security. - Batch of 2026

Must join if you are really interested in academics.
Placements: 65-70% of students got placed in our course MCA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Cisco, IBM, TCS, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more. The roles offered are software developer, data analytics, sales and marketing, finance and consulting, and many more. The highest package offered is 10.5 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. I think around 20-25% of students got internships from MCA and the companies IBM, Infosys, and Deloitte based on my knowledge.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure and facilities in our college for all the students and faculty members too. There are classrooms that can accommodate around 60 students in each class. Students are facilitated with the campus Wi-Fi, projectors, and speakers so that it will be audible for all the students who are sitting at the last. As a day scholar, I have not personally experienced the facilities available in the hostel but based on my friend's experience I can say that they have good food, Wi-Fi, and strong security facilities.
Faculty: Coming to academics, I have a good experience as all the teachers here take lectures in a way that will be understood by the students if they listen to me with full concentration and interest. We have a mid-term pattern that makes it easy for us to crack the end exam as we will cover half of the portion for mid-term exam. They are engaging us with placement training so thereby making us industry-ready. The passing percentage depends on the class's overall performance average.
Other: I completed my BCA and with an interest in technical I wanted to continue my knowledge in this field so that I can be in a good company. For this reason I joined MCA for the betterment of this course. I hope they can take us on industrial visits so we can at least get to know how it works in the industry environment. We want more events to be organized by the department so that apart from curricular we will also be able to enjoy extracurricular activities too.

B.Sc (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2028
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good college with good placements and good faculties, but infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: Around 80% of them get placed. The highest packages are around 24 LPA, the average package is around 8.2 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Companies like SAP Labs, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Oracle, Amazon, Ford, and many other companies. Up to 80% of students got internships in top companies like SAP Labs and NI India. Top roles are mostly IT professionals, and many of them are recruited in the pharma industry.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good, labs are top-end, classrooms are also neat and clean, and the college has a library near the boys' hostel. Hostel is not much clean, there is no washing machines to wash clothes and even the washing stone offered are less in number, it doesn't have an attached bathroom but offers a common bathroom, food facility is average but canteen food is good, it focuses lot on sports and extra curricular activities, the campus even has a sports club which you can enroll at the orientation day and selection will be held at a later time.
Faculty: The teachers are all Ph.D. holders, so no problem in terms of teaching, and they are helpful. The curriculum is optimized, and a separate facility called CIR runs just for the placement training, making students industry-ready for their placements. With enough preparations, you can ace the exams, and the pass percentage is 35%. The main thing for you to attend the end semester exams is to have an attendance of 80% or more.
Other: This B.Sc. PMCS course offers you specialisation in artificial intelligence and data science, which is really necessary in IT companies and other top companies in today's world. After this course, we can do M.Sc. or MCA, or we can even get into business. The campus life is not very vibrant. I wish they could improve that. Once a year, an event called Sathgamaya takes place, which is good. Apart from that, a lot of events take place, the college is situated near the city, merit-based scholarships are available, the college focuses a lot on extracurricular activities too.

My honest review about my college.
Placements: The mass recruiters hired almost everyone without any backlogs. It seemed they had a tie-up with CTS, which was also a good option. It was a good experience, I had two campus placements, one at Aricent and the other at Nagarro. Many companies visited our campus for placements, a few of them were Aricent, Nagarro, One Nine Seven Communication, Sapient, GlobalLogic, Microsoft, Adobe, MakeMyTrip, etc.
Infrastructure: The mess food was really bad. Non-veg was not allowed inside the college campus. The mess food was vegetarian and also Kerala-type food. It was not spicy at all and not good for Tamil Nadu or Andhra students. The hostel faculty members were good enough, and the environment was very clean.
Faculty: It was the toughest course I had ever attended or heard of. Every mark earned in those three years was hard-earned. There was a lot to learn. Professors set very high benchmarks for the students. Industry-level assignments were part of the course curriculum. Professors did not allow cheating or copying internet assignments. Some professors were very talented, almost all faculty members had completed their Ph.D. A few first-year faculty members had poor communication skills in English. But, I had a few staff members who were very talented in the first year. In the following years, almost all faculty members improved. The course curriculum was relevant, but the structure of the course was not up to date. Faculty members were good and helped us understand concepts, they were well-educated and had doctorate degrees in their fields. But, it was really important to manage time and study hours to excel.

Highly professional and well-maintained college in and around Mysore.
Placements: An average of 50-70% of the students get placed in our course from our senior batch the highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA, the average would be around 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Adobe, HP, and Teach Mahindra. Some of the IT companies are Consulting and finance companies like Deloitte, Federal Bank, etc. Up to 80% of the students get internships Roles offered for our course are full sack developed, application developed, UI UX designer, System administration, and Tester.
Infrastructure: They have Wi-Fi on every floor of the building computer labs are maintained very well and every classroom has a blackboard along with projectors. I am a day scholar, and I don't know about hostel facilities but the canteen food is good but costlier. They have separate ladies' rooms where only ladies are allowed so they can rest during medical emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and only Ph.D. holders or Ph.D. perusing take classes for MCA students. All the teachers work to develop skills in students rather than only marks. The curriculum is built according to the industry's needs. Most of the questions would be scenario-based where they ask application-level questions. The pass percentage will be decided on the class average.

Totally the college is value for money and teachers are more friendly and supportive.
Placements: There are some good placements happening here, and I can confidently say that my experience has been quite positive. When I first joined, I was a little unsure about how effective the placement cell would be, but over time, I realized that the college genuinely puts effort into getting students placed in good companies. We have several reputed companies visiting the campus, and the training provided before the interviews is extremely helpful.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure for my course and hostel facilities in my college. In terms of student amenities, the college provides hostels, canteens, medical facilities, and common rooms. Our hostel rooms are spacious and well-kept, and there is atmosphere in the hostel.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members here are genuinely good at teaching, especially when I compare them to those colleges in my city. From my personal experience, I have noticed that certain professors really know how to explain complex topics in a simple and relatable way. They just don't stick to the textbook but they try to make the subjects interesting by giving real-life examples, practice insights, and even sharing their own experience.
Other: When compared to the money and the education they are providing makes it is a value for money.
