Placements: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri is offering strong placements with over 300 diverse recruiters who visited in the year 2024. The highest package offered till now is 56.9 LPA, and also the average package is 9 LPA. Many top companies like Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, TCS, LTI, and recruit regularly. Placement rate is above 80%.

Infrastructure: Amritapuri campus has boosted modern infrastructure. It spreads over 80 acres of land with many other campuses like biotechnology, ayurveda, business featuring well-equipped classrooms, advanced labs, large library, mid speed internet access, and high-speed in some areas. Sports facilities like large cricket ground with cricket nets, football ground, and badminton courts in college and also near hostels for students. Hostel with different blocks for girls and boys and cool temperature.

Faculty: Faculty members at Amrita are generally well qualified and many of them have completed their Ph.D. They also have research experience. Many lecturers are supportive and friendly. Teaching quality is above average. There is a mixed talk for few lecturers who are excellent in their field whereas few are not upto the mark. Curriculum includes technical and cultural subjects like Bhagavad Gita lessons which can be opted via electives and some are mandatory subjects. Marking system is based on relative grading where top score gets a grade and ranking will be given. Popular programs are B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, and MBA.

Other: I am from computer science artificial intelligence course main reason I chose this course because of the strong placements and also the growth of AI. Loved the coding culture and hackathons and also many clubs for enthusiasts for coding enthusiasts coding clubs, chess clubs, cricket, even a cubing club, and also UPSC club for those who are willing to study UPSC. When it comes to fests loved the culture and also the festivals like Onam, Vishu, and many other festivals too. We even have many internship opportunities locally in the research depth and also outside.

It is absolutely a fine college with great faculty members.

Placements: In our batch, 99% of students get placed. The highest package is around 52 LPA, and the lowest package is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Wipro. Around 75% of students got internships in many good or decent companies I guess like Deloitte, IBM, and Capgemini. Roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer.

Infrastructure: Our department has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a digital library. Hostels have good rooms 24x7 Wi-Fi and clean washrooms. Mess food is decent with only veg food and it is hygienic. A medical room is also available. Many sports are included.

Faculty: Our college has great faculty members with good designations. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and with practical focus too. The course curriculum is industry-relevant with updated topics. The pass percentage is around 97% and some students opt for higher studies.

Other: I am actually interested in this course and the atmosphere here. I chose this course for its tech focus and career scope. The best part is hands-on projects and skilled faculty members. It should provide better industry knowledge.

Good infrastructure, discipline, and good college life.

Placements: 30% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 60 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Infosys. Since we are still graduating, there is no clear idea yet. The job is decided based on student's effort.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, library, and reading room are all available. The quality of the food is good, but it is purely vegetarian, with eggs available twice a week. There is a 24/7 medical facility and badminton court, just 100 meters from each. The college provides free gym facilities to students, and a paid pool is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful because they teach everything, not only related to Artificial Intelligence. Semester exams are tough, and the evaluation is strict. The pass percentage is 84%. Our college syllabus is also known to be tough, and enough hard work is required to pass every subject.

Other: Artificial Intelligence is a demanding course for the future, so I've chosen this. Some strict rules need to be changed, like the mandatory uniform. Events and fests are good, and we can experience a good college life.

Review of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs and the library here are okay. The hostel is poorly maintained. In the hostel, there are no air conditioners. We should wash our clothes and washrooms by ourselves. The mess food is not at all good. Sometimes, it is okay or average but most of the time it is not that good.

Faculty: The faculty here is well-experienced and very friendly. They are very approachable and well-qualified here. They hold PhD degrees in their respective subjects and fields. They are very supportive and encouraging. They focus on each student.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in artificial intelligence. Through AEEE counselling, I got allotted this course. This college hosts a national-level fest known as Viduth which is awesome.

I am satisfied because of the faculty and placements.

Placements: According to seniors and faculty, around 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 56 LPA, and the average is around 9 LPA for CSE and 7 LPA overall. Many companies like Amazon, Google, and DE Shaw come for recruitment. Placements are good compared to other colleges, and the college provides many internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, though there are restrictions in the hostels. Labs are well-equipped, with friendly faculty. A room is allotted for three members with an attached bathroom for first-year students. The food is average, making it difficult to adjust. Sports infrastructure is good, with facilities like badminton courts, a cricket ground, and a basketball court.

Faculty: Faculty members is highly experienced in their fields and is very friendly and helpful. The teaching is of the highest quality, and the curriculum is relevant to the current job market. It is easy to get good grades by attending classes and completing assignments. Most students pass, but a few fail.

Other: I choose this course because of faculty members and the excellent placements compared to other colleges. The college is highly ranked in the NIRF rankings. Girls are required to return to the hostels by 5 PM, which is unreasonable. Some non-core faculty members are not very friendly. Currently, the Vidyut multi-fest is set to take place in May, and Anokha took place in October, which we could attend if we wanted to at the Coimbatore campus. I am in Slab 2, so I have to pay Rs. 2,75,000, while students in Slab 1 have to pay Rs. 1,50,000.
