Experiencing the college life at SRM-KTR.

Placements: As I am a first-year student, I don't have my own placement experience, but we saw a list of the placements that occurred in the year 2024. Thousands of students applied for one job, out of which less than a hundred were placed. The highest package went up to 50-52 LPA, which was offered by DE Shaw & Co for the role of Software Development Engineer in Test, under which only 2 persons were selected. The lowest package was around 7-8 LPA. As there was a high recession during placements, the average package went to around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: For studying, the infrastructure provided by the university is great. You may get all the facilities required for a smooth learning process. The Wi-Fi connection is strong and is available at almost all places on campus. Classrooms are well managed, clean, and properly illuminated and ventilated. The same goes for the labs as well; all labs are well-equipped with the necessary resources. The library is also very decent, providing the students with a huge variety of books and e-materials to learn from. Hostels are a bit problematic. The infrastructure is not very decent, and cleanliness is not up to the mark. Charges are quite high.

Faculty: The faculty provided to the students for each and every subject is extremely helpful. All of them are well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing the students with the best of the knowledge they can. The curriculum management is also very good, providing the students with all sorts of theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Apart from learning the theory only, many activities are held to make the students gain various skills. The examination process is well structured and allows the students to test their learning from time to time. Semester exams are quite easy and scoreable, as compared to the internal exams.

Other: I chose the course B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) because it is in high demand in the market. As a lot of job opportunities are present for the students of this course, taking up this course can be fruitful. Although there are many opportunities for students to compete among others, increasing the quantity of such competitive events by the college will help the students a lot in testing their skills and building confidence. Apart from this, events and fests held on the campus are good and help the students socialize with each other easily.

Being ready for the future.

Placements: At our college, many students got placed in good companies like Deloitte, Google, Microsoft, etc. Internships are also good and up to the mark. Deloitte, Mahindra, TCS, and other companies provide internships and placements. Data analyst, data engineer, and data scientist are some of the major roles offered by our course. Around 96% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities here are awesome. The hostel is brilliant with timely cleaning and regular maintenance. The infrastructure is up to date. It gets updated from time to time. Free unlimited Wi-Fi is provided. It is always on. The library here is neat. Here, with the collaboration of one industry with our college we see a good increase in placements and internships. Otherwise, they could be taken from other companies. The food in the mess is better than the average expectations of students. Jawa Park provides good food. The sports center is also good.

Faculty: Our teachers teach thoroughly. They are up to date. Teachers help to solve most of the problems. The teaching of our whole staff is awesome. They provide the knowledge we need and much more than that sometimes. The course curriculum is relevant. Labs are settled by partnership of a major leading company in the market. We get industry-ready too. Internals here are moderately tough. Semester exams are easy to moderate. Above 4 CGPA is the passing percentage.

Other: My course provides the best analytical thinking and overall development. After researching too much, I selected this course. Here, Aarush is the best for providing the best events and fests. I joined a data science club. It helps in improving data-based thinking by using different methods and apps. Seniors are the best guides.

Top notch infrastructure and facilities, some faculty need improvement, made great friends.

Placements: From what I have heard, a lot of people get into internships early on, and most get good placement around 6-7 LPA being the current average. The highest being Microsoft and Google recruiting teams. My course which is Data Science is one of the most widely selected and most well rewarded course.

Infrastructure: The UB (University Block) building is the biggest building on campus and is also one of the best looking as well as best maintained. The classrooms are big and spacious, the Wi-Fi connection is excellent and Is available everywhere in the building. We have one of the biggest Libraries in any university. The hostels are also very good with sufficient facilities, the mess is great and we also have the SRM global hospitals so the medical facilities are top notch.

Faculty: The faculty of SRM is not the best but are well educated and greatly knowledgeable. The teaching quality will vary from teacher to teacher but your overall experience of them will be great. The curriculum is well adjusted and designed making it neither too hard nor too tough. The semister exams have an ascending order in terms of difficulty and majority of the students pass.

Other: I chose my course because it was one of the best stream to choose in one of the greatest Universities in India. The only thing I wish to improve my course is for the University to organize trips. Other than that there are 2 major college fests- Aaruush and Milan. You will have a great campus life and the campus has a large variety of people from all around the globe.

The greatest college for good placements.

Placements: Good placements have been held over the academic years. If a persons' CGPA is above 8 then He/She will get placement in good companies. Top recruiters in our college are Google, IBM, etc. Almost every student got placement in some or the other company. 100% students got placed. Some got placed in TCS, Infosys, etc. Students who are good in their computer skills can get more than 2 internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. Good facilities are available in our course. Most lecturers are Ph.D. in their particular department. Wi-Fi in our college is excellent. Hostel rooms are very clean and good. In every 2 days, they clean the rooms. Mess food is very good with plenty of hygienic food. Variety of Food is provided. For sports,, our college has many grounds to play.

Faculty: Teaching in our college is excellent. Teachers are well knowledgeable in their subjects. They are deep into their subjects. Clarifying of doubts is very good. This course makes students ready for the industry. They teach about the internships too. Semester exams are very good. Students who listen in classes can score very good marks in the semester exams.
