NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise NIFT Cutoff Ranks

NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the multiple UG and PG-level design courses for various categories under the Home State and All India quota. The cutoff was released for the BDes course and its various specialisations, and the BFTech course at the UG level. At the PG level, the cutoff was declared for the MDes and MFM courses.

NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

The NIFT Kangra cutoff 2025 was published for the BDes course and its various specialisations, BFTech, MDes and MFM courses. Students should know that the lower the rank, the higher the competition. Accordingly, among all the courses offered, the two most competitive for admission were the MDes and the MFM courses, with the last round rank being 521 and 799, respectively. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for OBC All India Category

According to the NIFT Kangra BDes cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 5089 to 6486. According to the last round, the most challenging specialisation for admission was BDes in Fashion Design, with the cutoff being 5089. On the other hand, the easiest specialisation for admission was Textile Design, with the cutoff being 6486. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for SC All India Category

For this category, the UG-level courses had the first round cutoff ranging from 5870 in the first round to 7820 in the first round. According to the first round cutoff range, the hardest bachelor 's-level course was BDes in Fashion Communication, with the cutoff of 5870 in the first round. When compared to the cutoff for the OBC AI quota, the same course had a cutoff of 3098 in the first round. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for ST All India Category

For this category, the cutoff was released for the 3 BDes course specialisations, namely Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, and Textile Design. Among these three, the most challenging for admission was 7485 for the Fashion Communication specialisation, according to the last round.

NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for EWS All India Category

For the EWS AI category, the cutoff was released for the BDes course specialisations for admission at NIFT Kangra, wherein the most and least competitive specialisations were Fashion Design and Textile Design, according to the last round cutoff being 4405 and 6746, respectively.

NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for PWD AI Category

For this category, the cutoff was only published for the BDes Fashion Communication course. The cutoff in the last round was 8009. When compared to the EWS AI category, where the last round cutoff was 5457. Thus, we can conclude that the competition for this category is easier than the EWS AI category. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for General HS Category 

The NIFT Kangra cutoff 2025 was also published for admission to the General, OBC, SC, and ST categories under the Home State quota. For the General AI category, the most competitive course for admission was the Master of Design, with a cutoff of 703 in the last round. The cutoff was also released for BDes course specialisations and BFTech course in Apparel Production at the bachelor's level, and MFM course at the PG-level. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for OBC HS Category

Students who want admission to the NIFT Kangra have to appear for the NIFT entrance examination and take part in the counselling process to be eligible for admission. For the OBC HS category, the cutoff was only released for the BDes in Fashion Communication course. The round 1 and last round cutoff was 8015. NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for SC HS Category

Admission at NIFT Kangra for the SC HS category was only offered for the BDes in Fashion Communication course. In 2025, the round 1 cutoff for this course was 8075. The OBC HS quota had a cutoff of 8015 for the same course. When compared to this category, the competition here is lower, as the rank is higher. Remember, the higher the rank, the lower the competition.

NIFT Kangra Cutoff 2025 for ST HS Category

BDes cutoff 2025 is available for the ST HS category in the table below. The cutoff was only released for the BDes in Fashion Design course for this category. The round 1 and last round cutoff rank for the course is the same, at 8085. This could mean that most students belonging to this category had already accepted their seats in the first round itself, and only a few students left their seats for admission somewhere else.
