Well-detailed and overall review for BIP Patiala, from classrooms to placements, everything.

Placements: My course placement is around more than 85%. The highest I am not sure about, but I have researched on a website, so it is quite a positive course. Yes, as per the college records, 35% of students are placed in the college placement opportunities. As for my knowledge, the highest package is around 23 LPA, and the lowest package I don’t have much knowledge about, as it was not mentioned anywhere. The average package is said to be around 8 to 9 LPA. As per my knowledge, the top post is the quality control head.

Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available in the college. For example, there are different and many Wi-Fi networks available in the college, which makes it easier and more convenient for the students. If I talk about the labs, every required lab is present, and all the equipment is up to date. Personally, I am pretty glad with the experience. The library is also present, and all the books that are needed from the first semester to the last semester are available. I have not opted for the hostel, so I’m not aware.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and pretty knowledgeable. Based on my personal experience, they have good teaching skills. I guess every intelligent student is not a good teacher, but they are very good teachers with pretty good experience. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready because we have both theoretical and practical knowledge. The practical knowledge is always needed to go into the industry, and we perform a lot of practical tutorials, which makes us industry-ready.

Other: I chose Pharmacy because I like the medical field. Pharmacy was quite interesting to me, like the information and the making of drugs. It is quite interesting and knowledgeable, and my sister advised me to choose this one as I have a personal interest as well. There are a lot of events in the college, like the pharmacy event. It isn’t much crowded, as the campus is pretty big. The Wi-Fi and connectivity on campus are good. The parking lot could be enlarged. The canteen menu could be better.

Nice campus, good placements.

Placements: The placement is good. The companies like HCL, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture visited, and many more visited for campus recruitments. The average salary package is around 5-6 lacs per annum. The roles offered by the companies are a software developer, managers, etc. The campus placement is good but not as good as compared with CGC Landran and Chitkara University.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Well-equipped labs and classrooms are present. The hostel rooms are also well maintained and cleaned regularly. The hostel mess food is good. The college canteens are also clean and hygienic. The Wi-Fi works well. There is not an issue related to campus infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty are good. Some teachers are experienced and some are freshers. The faculty members are very enthusiastic and motivated. Teachers use different teaching technics for teaching like visual, audio, practicals, seminars. The management organises guest lectures and industrial visits. If there is any problem faced by students, they complain to management or faculty, and necessary steps are taken to resolve it. Management forms various cultural, technical, sports, dance, acting clubs. All events are managed and coordinated by students under the guidance of experienced faculty.

I am satisfied because of the faculty and the environment of the college.

Placements: The placements in our college are not enough, as there are placements only for the CSE students, which is very less for the mechanical and the civil engineering students. The college doesn't invite any companies, so there are very fewer opportunities to get into the placement from this college in the mechanical and the civil engineering.

Infrastructure: The college is nice in its infrastructure with a Wi-Fi speed of 20 Mbps offering 1 Gb of data daily for every student with a different mobile number. There are good labs of mechanical in which some machines don't work properly. The classrooms will be good with no disturbances during the studies. It also has very big and a good library. There are also medical facilities available. And every year there is a sports meet organised in the college. At last, there is also a Gym for the hostlers.

Faculty: There will be a good faculty of mechanical engineering. They take all the lectures in time, and they also have knowledge of teaching mechanical engineering. There will be good lab instructor for the mechanical engineering, but the campus provides less salary to the teachers. Overall, the faculty of the campus is very nice.

Other: I like this college life as there will not be very much crowd and there will be a good environment. There will be a very good behaviour of the teachers. Also, there will be no drugs addicted students. The environment of the college will be very clean and very good. There will also be a gym for the body maintenance of the students. But the fee of the college is very high, which is very less for some students and free for minorities.

Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Many good and new placements were offered here every year. A variety of companies come from abroad, and a job fair was also organised. Very good placements were offered in this college job fair input every branch Rayat Bahra is always best. I am proud to be a student of it.

Infrastructure: There was a good cleaning in every classroom, and many branches were available to sit in the class. We had good drinking water and here is a kind of labs such as computer lab, science lab, workshop, foundry lab, and carpentry lab. There was a pure and clean canteen for eating, and there is also a pure mash.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very good. All the teachers used an easy way to teach. They all were holding M.Tech, PhD, and M.Ed. They all like teaching students and explained in a good way. Every department has different HODs, and all the departments are good.

Other: The campus had a good crowd and connectivity.
