A constructive criticism of Barkatullah University.
Placements: In my experience, among approximately 80 students, only a handful of them got recruited (around 20), and the highest package someone got was around INR 4 lakh per annum. At this point in time, I've lost all hope of getting a job at my university, and I've started working on my skills to get a far better job off campus.
Infrastructure: I've heard that the management was far better before COVID, but as per my experience and what I've seen, the infrastructure is very primitive. The library is one place that I believe is okay. Classes are really in a bad situation (there are no smart classes or anything). There is no public or private network for students, the labs are in very poor condition, and the only thing that is proper and good is the sports field.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, and all of them are highly qualified, but only some know how to make students understand (they'll teach, but only some understand the student). The course is rather well picked, but the practical knowledge is not that strong. The semester exams are extremely easy, and the pass percentage is around 30% (60 marks in theory/written and 40 in practical and sessional). There are no other activities done in the college, and there are no groups (but the new VC, sir, has promised to introduce these things and improve the current situation).

The college is really good specially for engineering students.
Placements: The campus placement is really good, placement generally refers to campus placement, which are conducted by college and university to connect their student with job opportunities. 70 % of the students get placed. The highest package is of INR 9 LPA and the lowest package is of INR 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like smart classrooms, labs, library, well maintained canteen, a medical center and a very huge ground, WIFI is available in the campus and the center library is also there. Library is excellent and it has daily newspapers. Hostel facilities are good in terms of infrastructure and food. The environment of this college is natural with full of trees and the atmosphere is good

Faculty: My course is ECE in my college. I chose this course of my interest and it was a quality branch in the college. All the faculty were highly trained and qualified at the M.Tech/PhD level. Faculty with finish portion before our exam. College conducts many workshops to learn something new.
Other: The college conducts sportika and technical event every year .

It's not a bad college here's placement record isn't very good but infrastructure, and faculties.
Placements: Placement records are not very good. Only companies come here for hiring students. No, any companies come for the mechanical and civil branches but here great opportunity for an open campus our college students are allowed the open campus. Many students are placed in it companies from open campus but don't worry also a different branch students get a job in its companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not very good but it's not very bad every working process is slow. The infrastructure of the buildings is good but some rooms are congested. Here the labs are in good condition, Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and there is a big central library for whole college students. There are two boys and one girl's hostel. The condition of the hostel is not good it's very small rooms for the student. Mess food is good and mess condition is also good, and also competition between the two boys' hostels is very high (mpc vs Jawahar).
Faculty: Every faculty member here highly qualified Ph.D. holder they are very familiar with us and very helpful to students. The teaching quality of faculty members is very good they are fluent in our subjects. There are extra curriculum activities organized every year to improve the student's skills. Semester exams are a little tough for students but it's helpful for gain knowledge and there is no chance of cheating in the exam hall.
Other: I chose electronic and communication engineering because of my interest in semiconductor devices, iot topic. Not all the components are available for making projects and lab on time that's the need for improvement in my course.

Review of Barkhatullah University Institute of Technology.
Placements: Only 2-3 companies come here for placements. The minimum package offered is 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Students can try open campus placements. This year, a student got placed in open campus with 13 LPA. A student got placed in Infosys with 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of UIT is good. There are comfortable seats, and the buildings are old but good. The central library is very good for all students. Wi-Fi facilities are available on the whole campus. Labs are in good condition with all mandatory chemicals and components. The hostel is not great but affordable. The mess food is good. The best thing is the great unity among hostel students.
Faculty: All the faculty members are PhD holders and helpful to students. Extracurricular activities are good. Tekniska and Sportika are held here. Semester exams are tough. You can get 25 marks out of 40 easily in practicals and 20 out of 60 marks in theory exams which is hard.
Other: Every student in the college is friendly, and seniors are helpful.

This college is value for money.
Placements: The only company visiting campus back then was TCS. Out of a batch of 300 students a number of 24 or 25 students got placed at TCS. Ofcourse it was two day process where top 5 get direct entry to interview and others had to appear for TCS aptitude test.
Infrastructure: Firstly college hostels would be provided on the basis of merit. There was wi-fi available inside hostel premises but not in or around college. Mess was managed by students with University workers preparing the food in hostel premises itself so it was quite hygienic and healthy for the fee that one paid.
Faculty: Teachers were good as well as teaching quality was decent not very good. Lab equipment would not work most of the times. The course curriculum was the same as other colleges and was relevant for the course I was pursuing. It was just average nothing more.
Other: There are several scopes of improvements in the curriculum. Also practical or lab exercises can be improved for good. Very few opportunities for self-betterment.
