Placements for 2023-2022 batch were 100% for CSE.

Placements: In 2024, the average salary package offered for the CSE branch was 14.7 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 34.4 LPA by PayPal. The other recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, ServiceNow, and other tech companies. This year placement rate is 64% for CSE, which is okay seeing the market condition.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is given to first-year students only in IIIT Bhopal. After that, we have to find a place for ourselves. We get all MANIT campus facilities like a sports complex which has a badminton court, TT court, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and also a football field. So, facilities are good due to MANIT campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and educated. The course curriculum is a very good mixture of new techs like AI and ML and basic computer science courses like operation systems, computer networks, discrete structure, DBMS, etc. The exams happen 3 times in a semester to test the knowledge throughout the semester. We can pass with good studies.

Other: I chose this course because the curriculum and placements are very good. It is the best available option and also the seniors here are very helpful. We have an inter-branch sports event called Sportlumina every year. The college participates in inter-IIIT events. The annual cultural event Nimack is very happening and exciting. Many clubs are there which help students to improve their skills and confidence. There are 2 college groups that won Hackathon in 2024.

Absolutely dissatisfied with infrastructure of the college, Nice placements and atmosphere.

Placements: IIIT Bhopal maintains a good placement record every year. The institute is conducting its 2023 placement drive, in which the highest and average packages stood at INR 80 LPA and INR 21.94 LPA, respectively, in the 2023 placement drive. The median package was recorded at INR 12 LPA. 96 students have been placed till now.

Infrastructure: The college has no infrastructure at all. They have only 22 classrooms in the name of infrastructure. The college doesn't provide any hostel to students. The classrooms have working Wi-Fi, decent classrooms. In sports activities, every year the student council organizes an inter-branch sports event called Sporlumina.

Faculty: Faculty members in IIIT Bhopal are firstly not permanent. They keep changing every year. Secondly, they don't have a proper team of faculty members. The faculty members are qualified. Some are qualified from prestigious institutes of India. -Now talking about curriculum relevance? Yes, it is. -The examinations are on the moderate side, not difficult, not easy.

Other: Everyone here comes only for placement. The college has many fests, cultural meets, etc.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, a language, one from the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology /Technical Vocational subject, and any subject other than the above four subjects in year 2024, 2025. Candidates must have secured the mentioned aggregate marks of these five subjects in the Class 12th examination (PwD candidates should score at least 65% marks) or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12th examination conducted by respective Boards. Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2026, are also eligible.
