An underrated college with good placements.

Placements: The placements are very good. The average package is about 18 LPA, the maximum package is 8.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include IBM, Amazon, PayPal, and others. The internship opportunities are very good, with the average internship package being 1 LPA.

Infrastructure: The indian Institute of Technology Bhopal (IIT Bhopal) is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It includes contemporary campus with modern academic blocks, residential hostels for students, staff housing, and well equipped laboratories. The campus is designed to support teaching and research in a variety of engineering and science disciplines. Facilities include Wi-Fi-enabled lecture halls, smart classrooms, a central library, sports grounds, and dining/mess. Though detailed publicly available data such as acreage and total built up area for IIT Bhopal are not found. The institute follows the pattern of newer IITs.

Faculty: IIT Bhopal offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across engineering, science, and interdisciplinary areas. Disappointed after taking admission in this college.

Placements: The top recruiting companies for my course are Accenture, Flipkart, PayPal, etc. A good percentage of students get placed in top companies every year with an average package of 14 LPA and the highest package of 34.4 LPA. Mainly, students are hired for roles like software developer, software engineer, and other tech-related jobs.

Infrastructure: There is no campus in the college. Classrooms are in very bad condition, and there are no ACs even after paying a huge amount of fees. Even the fans do not work properly. There is no library in the college. The Wi-Fi connection is very poor. There are no sports facilities provided due to the lack of a campus. The food in the mess is just okay.

Faculty: The teaching quality here is poor. Faculty members just come, present the PPT, read from it, and then go. The course curriculum is also not well planned. It doesn't make sense for a CSE student to study subjects like Physics, Ethics, and Electrical Engineering when they are of no use to us.

Other: I took admission in this college just because of its growth in placements. Rest, there is nothing in the college, no campus, no fests, no sports. It is a fully demotivating college.

I am satisfied with the faculty, college placements, and the curriculum at the college.

Placements: The placements are good enough, and almost 250+ companies visit every year in our college. 70% of the placements happen on campus, and others off-campus because not everyone wants to get on-campus placements, so it's your personal choice. Placements from 3-4 years have been amazing, with Microsoft, Atlassian, and many other named companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but it doesn't have its own campus, so it's a small problem, but hopefully college is going to develop its own campus. The hostels should be provided to students in the upcoming years. Students get hostels but not on the campus, and buses are also provided for travelling.

Faculty: The college provides enough faculty so that you can develop your skills. Various sessions are also conducted by the college clubs so that you can gain knowledge about the technical world. The college curriculum is good. Exams are also conducted strictly, and the course provided by the college is purely branch-oriented.

Decent placements and not good infrastructure.

Placements: In the 2022 batch, our college has secured an average salary package of 9 LPA in ECE, 16 LPA in IT, and 14 LPA in CSE. The average salary package goes to somewhat 13 LPA. The placement for the 2022 batch is still going on. The highest salary package offered is 46 LPA by Microsoft and the second highest salary package offered is 27 LPA - 30 LPA by Tekion to 14 students. 80% of students who participated in the placement drive are placed. Top recruiting companies are Cred, Nvidia, Tekion, Qualcomm, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: Don't expect much about infrastructure from our college. There is no campus available. Hostels aren't on campus. They are about 10 km away, but the college provides bus facilities. The only plus point is that we're having a campus of NIT Bhopal temporarily. Classrooms are decent similar to our school. Don't expect big lecture halls as in IITs.

Faculty: Teachers are quite talented and have knowledge about the industry. The teaching quality is decent which is similar in all colleges. In 2024, the course curriculum was updated with the latest industry standards. The curriculum contains core CS subjects along with DSA and other industry-relevant skills. Semester exams are not at all difficult and are easily manageable. The grading system works on a relative basis.

Other: I was getting it for my rank, so I chose this college for my degree. Facilities in this college are not up to mark. Labs don't have their machines, so college needs to improve labs.

Placements for 2023-2022 batch were 100% for CSE.

Placements: In 2024, the average salary package offered for the CSE branch was 14.7 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 34.4 LPA by PayPal. The other recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, ServiceNow, and other tech companies. This year placement rate is 64% for CSE, which is okay seeing the market condition.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is given to first-year students only in IIIT Bhopal. After that, we have to find a place for ourselves. We get all MANIT campus facilities like a sports complex which has a badminton court, TT court, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and also a football field. So, facilities are good due to MANIT campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and educated. The course curriculum is a very good mixture of new techs like AI and ML and basic computer science courses like operation systems, computer networks, discrete structure, DBMS, etc. The exams happen 3 times in a semester to test the knowledge throughout the semester. We can pass with good studies.

Other: I chose this course because the curriculum and placements are very good. It is the best available option and also the seniors here are very helpful. We have an inter-branch sports event called Sportlumina every year. The college participates in inter-IIIT events. The annual cultural event Nimack is very happening and exciting. Many clubs are there which help students to improve their skills and confidence. There are 2 college groups that won Hackathon in 2024.

Absolutely dissatisfied with infrastructure of the college, Nice placements and atmosphere.

Placements: IIIT Bhopal maintains a good placement record every year. The institute is conducting its 2023 placement drive, in which the highest and average packages stood at INR 80 LPA and INR 21.94 LPA, respectively, in the 2023 placement drive. The median package was recorded at INR 12 LPA. 96 students have been placed till now.

Infrastructure: The college has no infrastructure at all. They have only 22 classrooms in the name of infrastructure. The college doesn't provide any hostel to students. The classrooms have working Wi-Fi, decent classrooms. In sports activities, every year the student council organizes an inter-branch sports event called Sporlumina.

Faculty: Faculty members in IIIT Bhopal are firstly not permanent. They keep changing every year. Secondly, they don't have a proper team of faculty members. The faculty members are qualified. Some are qualified from prestigious institutes of India. -Now talking about curriculum relevance? Yes, it is. -The examinations are on the moderate side, not difficult, not easy.

Other: Everyone here comes only for placement. The college has many fests, cultural meets, etc.

Good placements and sports activities in Manit.

Placements: Very good placements. Almost 98% of students got placed with the highest package of 38 lacs per annum, the average package of 18 lacs per annum, and the median package of 15 lacs per annum. I will recommend this college because placements are really good. Join the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal.

Infrastructure: Average hostel. Hostels are located far from the colleges, as our college lies in Maulana Azad National Institute of Information Technology Bhopal, or Manit Bhopal. My hostel, which is located 15 km away from IIIT Bhopal, is in RGPV. It is a great hostel with average food, fully vegetarian. Sports facilities are good. Talking about our college labs, they are really good. Wi-Fi speed is a little low. Library is an issue.

Faculty: Professors are really helpful and qualified. Everyone has a Ph.D. in their subjects. The quality of teaching is very good. The course is very relevant, and it does make students industry ready. Semester exam is easy. CGPA is relative. It is easy to score in the exams.

Decent college but not value for money if you don't have a scholarship. Placements are decent.

Placements: The intake for each branch on average is about 130-160 students. Most of the professors are from MANIT Bhopal, and also some of the professors are from foreign universities. All the top companies have visited the college for recruitment in the past years. In this year, i.e., 2024, Atlassian has also recruited students, offering a package of around 85 LPA. It also visited the same campus in 2022.

Infrastructure: As the college does not have its own campus, the boys are accommodated in three hostels: RGPV, BHEL, and NITTR in Bhopal, and girls are in another government girls' hostel. The mess food is the worst (worse than you can think). The hygiene is also average. Also, the hostel is around 15 km away from the college.

Faculty: Faculty is good. The exam difficulty is moderate. Coding culture is awesome, placements are good, and teachers are helpful, kind, and good-natured. All things are good. The college is decent; you can opt for it if you are ready for the tough curriculum, so you can opt for it.

Other: The crowd is average, but if you are serious, then you can stand out among the students very easily and can secure an excellent job very easily. The only thing is you have to be consistent and focused to enhance your skills.
