My honest review of my college, BUDGE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

Placements: Almost all students get placed by the college, securing positions in well-reputed companies. The average package for students is 4 Lacs per annum, while the highest package in my course reaches 24 Lacs per annum. Top companies like Adobe, OYO, Amazon, and many other reputable firms hire students from this college. Those who achieve high marks also receive internship opportunities provided by the college in well-known companies. Job roles such as Cloud Architect, software developer, computer system analyst, etc., are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi for students and teachers for their necessary use. Each lab is equipped with all the necessary equipment. Computer labs consist of 25 computers, all air-conditioned, and equipped with CCTV cameras. Classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate 40 students at a time, furnished with 20 benches, fans, and lights. Some classrooms are also equipped with projectors, cloud speakers, and air conditioning. Students can access books from the college library every semester.

Faculty: The teachers at the college are highly qualified, with many having graduated from prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, IIIT, Jadavpur University, etc. Some teachers also have teaching experience at IIT, NIT, IIIT, Jadavpur University, and other well-known colleges. The teachers are very helpful to students and provide extra classes when needed. Engineering in Information Technology is highly relevant to the current curriculum, as we all know that companies or industries cannot run without computers. The computer industry emphasizes coding skills, and languages like C, C+, Python, etc., are well-taught here. The college operates under MAKAUT, and the university sets the question papers. The difficulty level of the question papers is moderate, with the passing marks for a semester being 40 out of 100.

Other: Nowadays, we can observe that the demand for engineers in the computer industry is substantial. Choosing Engineering in Information Technology is a wise decision. I also have a dream to become a software developer at Google. I believe the college could improve the number of internship opportunities. I also hope that in the future, the college can achieve a 100% placement record every year. Various types of fests are held here, such as Teach fest, etc. The annual fest is one of the biggest in the area, spanning four days and including indoor games, outdoor games, dancing, singing competitions, and performances by famous celebrities and singers on the stage.

Our college is a good college, not like IITs and NITs.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA (off-campus) and the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA (on-campus). The salary package offered is 10 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many companies come to our college with decent packages. Our college conducts a pool campus for other college students. The top recruiting companies like Amazon, BYJU's, Cloud Compton, TCS, Cognizant, Game 24X7, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The hostel is average. The college always tries to improve the hostel as much as possible. Sports facilities in our college are good. Sports like basketball, cricket, and football are played in our college.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. All teachers are good. They always come forward to help students. The examination is the same as any other college examination. The pass percentage of students is good in our college. Our college is affiliated with our college so our examination pattern is fully controlled. Teachers are supportive.

Other: The college should have to get the best and most excellent faculty members to our college.

Our college has a good campus infrastructure with faculty members and an average placements record.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA to 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit every year, like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, Byjus, etc. The maximum number of CSE, IT, and ECE students get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and there is a huge campus. Classrooms are good and labs are equipped with modern PCs. The Wi-Fi is provided only in the academic building and it is limited to 34 MB per day. The library has lots of books and we can borrow additional books to read there. The hostel is average. Our rooms are large and airy with good lighting, but the food is not good.

Faculty: Our college faculty members are good. They are highly educated, helpful and kind. They provide notes and teach very well. Practical knowledge is somehow compromised because students didn't get proper systematic practical classes. The majority of students are not industry-ready. The college takes 4 CA exams and practical exams, then semester exams happen.

Placements: Placement quality is good in our college. There are a very large number of students through the college placement drive. The placement process is easy and good. Our college is very supportive and helps with placements of students into industries or companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure with all facilities available like smart classrooms, canteens, Wi-Fi, library, gym, and playground. The smart classrooms are very good, and the canteen food is good and hygienic and all classrooms are clean.

Faculty: The curriculum is updated and has all the new developments.

Other: I'm studying for a B.Tech, specialising in information technology. I'm in this group because I'm interested in coding and software technologies. I went to the best college, and it provided me with good knowledge, friends, and a path to a bright future. I've taken information technology, and our course fee is Rs.100000 per annum. It's worth keeping that money for our course because of the good teaching and good placement facilities provided by our college.
