I would not recommend taking admission to this college, but the IT department is fine.

Placements: Only 10 to 20% of the students got placed in college because as the placements started the lockdown began. In our civil engineering department, internships are given almost to everyonE as a site engineer, Students also learn about bridge design. I completed my internship at CPED but did not get a job.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fine. Campus is Wi-Fi enabled but is limited to 20 to 30 MB. The medical facility and sports ground are fine. Competitions are held with other colleges also especially we have - cricket and football games. Our college has won many competitions. WE have good sports players.

Faculty: Faculty members are not good. The teaching skills of some teachers are good. Students are ready for working in the industry. The semester exams are very difficult and the pass percentage is 70%. Students who pass out from college are appointed as department teachers in the same college. So they are not experienced.

Other: I opted for this course because of my uncle who is a civil engineer. There are high job opportunities in this college. But because of the corona, there are no opportunities. Our college should appoint experienced teachers for the betterment of our course. Some teachers don't have good communication skills. College events college fest, sports, tech fest, and all are good. You can apply for all scholarships.

It is the best technical college in Kolkata for good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Around 60% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top companies RMC India, Pinnacle Information, Tech Solution, and RDC Concrete. Around 60% of the students got internships from B.Tech civil in Pinnacle Information, Tech Solution, RDC Concrete, RMC India, etc. Role offered are as a graduate engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college has a modern classroom with a projector, and labs are full to the equipment, free Wi-Fi, library, boys hostel and girls hostel is at a different place. The canteen facilities are available, and the hostel serves good quality of food. Medical facilities are available 24x7. College buses are available for pick and drop students. All sports like cricket, basketball, etc., are available.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good, and maximum teachers are qualified M.Tech and PhD. They are experienced from IIT and NITs. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They provide strong practical knowledge with practical classes and industrial training. College is providing software courses free of cost like Staad Pro.

Other: The quality of education is high, and the environment is good. All the facilities like the library and sports are available. They provide good placements to secure our future. There is no need for improvement because all things are good. We celebrate teacher's day, republic day, fest, fresher's day, and extracurricular activities. Our college provides good scholarships.

Satisfied from every aspects the college offers.

Placements: My college provides lots of facilities for each individual students. The placements are very good. Teachers are very co-operative and helps in every aspects. Some top companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Webel, etc. Are recruited. The average salaries offered by the companies are approximately 7 to 8 lacs per annum. About 40% students got internship from my course in companies such as Cognizant, Webel, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has one of the most beautiful infrastructures. The classrooms are large, enough space for the students. The labs are well maintained. The tools of the labs are up to date. The whole campus has Wi-Fi. The library supplies whatever books you want. The canteen food is very good. It has varieties of dishes starting from veg, non veg, south Indian, chinese, etc. BBIT has won the inter college football competition. We played inter college cricket tournament.

Faculty: The teachers are highly educated. They have a vast knowledge about their subjects. The H. O. D. of our stream is highly qualified and very helpful. The teachers guides us to bring out the very best of us. They train you for jobs, group discussions, etc.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, infrastructure and sporting culture of our college.

Placements: The campus is huge, but placements in the college are not that good. They invite good companies for placements. But after the job interview, the company never calls any of the students to join the company. However, many of our senior friends are working in good companies.

Infrastructure: The college is situated in Budge. Budge station is the nearest and the only station to reach the college. The campus is huge and spacious. The college provides Wi-Fi facilities, and those facilities are worthful. The library is one of the best functioning parts of this college. Budge Institute of Technology has its own playground for the students to play. Overall, this college has a good infrastructure.

Faculty: BBIT offers many streams in which the students of different trades are studying. I am a civil engineering student, and every faculty member except for some are very good. They teach us nicely. We have teachers of IIT standards. Our drawing teacher has drawn many drawings for building sky-scraper.

Other: The college recently celebrated its annual festival. Badshah and Astha Gill were the main attractions of this event. This college has two cricket teams; one is for the tennis ball game, and the other one is for the leather ball game. I am part of both the teams. We go to play in many tournaments. Our college also has football, volleyball, and basketball teams.

Really good infrastructure but not so good placements.

Placements: The placement is moderate for the previous batch also. Almost 11-18% got placed in civil department. 7-9 LPA was the salary package offered by a marketing company, and it is the highest. Normally marketing and IT companies visited along with few core companies like Ramky, Tuscon etc. They also provide pool campus placements by several core companies.

Infrastructure: There are sufficient labs and classrooms. The library is also good. Wi-Fi facility is moderate. Our college is very much active in sports. The quality of food is not good, but there is CCD inside. There are separate hostels for girls and faculty members.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Some teachers are not knowledgeable, but other than that we have got awesome faculty members. We got industrial training, but I have done it in another company. The course was useful for me but some students suffered from the training offered by the college.

Other: Probably, we have the most amazing campus. We have got a huge ground, cricket camps, pool, tennis court, volleyball court and basketball court. Our fest was held in April. The surrounding view of the college is like a green sketch.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: In the college those who has studied in mechanical, civil, electrical for them there is no core company in the placement. But for the electronics and computer branch there is lot of placement offer. Overall the placement is good but not for the civil or mechanical engineering students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Their are sport ground, swimming pool, good library and basketball court and a good food for the student. Classrooms and humanities department is good. All the lab is full of modern equipment. A huge playground has their in the campus for the student.

Faculty: Faculty is very poor as well as their teaching quality especially in civil engineering. In the whole faculty of civil there are very few have B.E degree. Most of them are B.Tech and M.Tech from the private college. This is a good college compare to other college in the West Bengal.

B.I.T is a very good private college.

Placements: 40% of the students already got placed in our department. The highest salary offered is 9 Lacs p.a, and the lowest salary offered is 4 Lacs p.a. Companies that visited our college are JMC Pvt. Ltd, Manikaran Solar Ltd., Ramcky Enviro Ltd., and CE Testing Pvt. Ltd., Our training and placement cell is very helpful. Maximum 40 students got an internship from college. The college arranged some training under CPWD, PWD, L&T, Simplex Infrastructure Ltd, and Gammon India Ltd. The college provides an industrial visit at Garden Reach Water Treatment Plant.

Infrastructure: Our campus area is 20 acres. It is a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. All the labs are good. Quality of all lab instruments is very good. All the lab set up is good. 4 playgrounds, 3 canteens, and ATM are available on our campus. The classrooms are good. Food quality in our canteen is very good at reasonable price.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. Some of them are from Jadavpur University, Shibpur. Their teaching quality is very impressive. Some of them have industrial experience. The student-faculty ratio is 6:1.

Overall good infrastructure with good faculties but placement for core branches should be increased.

Placements: Good placements provided for CS branch but for core branches placement was not too good. About 40 % placed for core branches and for non core almost 70 % got absorbed in companies like Amazon.in, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant. Various posts offered with attractive salary of about 2.50 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: A sprawling 20 acres campus in the heart of budge city with separate buildings for Polytechnic, B.Tech and MBA batches. Separate hostels for boys and girls, excellent library with various books to choose from and excellent and well-equipped laboratories. No infrastructure related issues to be faced by anyone.

Faculty: Qualified teachers with good education background always ready to help students in any matter they can by providing extra classes, teaching new and innovative methods to study, grooming students for future so that they can establish themselves anywhere they go. The course followed here is excellent for students preparing fir competitive engineering exams.

Other: Tech fest, freshers party called milaap, annual cricket tournament, football tournament also hosted by BBIT.
