Our college provides good placements for CSE and IT students.
Placements: For study purposes, it's a very good college. Our seniors got the highest salary package of 15 LPA and the lowest of 5 LPA. About 99.7% of our seniors got internships from our course. If you want a job with the highest pay, I recommend studying at CIEM Institute.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but hostels are not provided. Wi-Fi is always available. Labs and the library provided by the institute are in very good condition. There are two canteens. The food is very delicious and healthy.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are easy.
Other: A fest is organised every year.

It is a good college and it has good placements in 2022.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package in our course this year is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. About 50% of students got internships at many popular companies. Top roles offered in our course are SDE, testing engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are two buildings on our college campus. There is a huge playground at the back of the college. Classrooms have enough space for students and also proper seating is provided. Wi-Fi is available for all students. Labs are so good. There is a computer lab, a chemistry lab, and an iot lab.
Faculty: Faculty members and our principal are helpful. They always support the students in their studies and other activities. Teachers are very knowledgeable. This course is very relevant. Students are trained to be industry-ready. There are 8 semesters, which are quite hard.

It is a good college if students get more than 20,000 ranks in the WBJEE exam.
Placements: Placements are low in this covid era. However, in normal times, placements are good enough. Around 80% of students get placed in computer science and information technology courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has a vast area. It has a good library with a large stock of books. It has greenery and a large playground. Moreover, the classrooms are great. However, our college does not have hostels. So outdoor students have to reside in PGs around this college.
Faculty: Almost 90% of teachers are helpful and very friendly. The older ones are very wise and guiding. They teach students well. However, like every college, there are exceptions also. The course curriculum is fully relevant to MAKAUT. Semester exams are easy, and almost 100% of the students pass the exams.
Other: I got about 25,000 ranks in WBJEE. In that terms, it is good. Moreover, events are held by the authorities.

This college is average, as it has a good location.
Placements: Placements are not good in this college. The average salary pacakge offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Wipro. Around 7-8% of students get placements, if students get a better college then they go for it because this college is not good.
Infrastructure: This college does not even have a hostel. Food quality is very low in the canteen, and the price is also high. Food quality is also not good that's why none eats the college food. But the water availability is good there is a water source on every floor.
Faculty: Few teachers are helpful but only a few. Most of the teachers are well educated. Passing the semester exam is not tough, most of the students get qualification marks. I got 8 CGPA in every semester, and most of the students got so.
Other: The campus is good because it's placed near the metro station. Students can even see the metro from our college ground. The playground is very big.

CIEM's a good college which can be better.
Placements: Most of the students get placed by off-campus placements or by giving exams like TCS NQT, Ninja or Cognizant Genc, etc. Even though more than 75% get placed in various companies mostly in TCS or Cognizant. Few other non popular companies comes for interview.
Infrastructure: Well, the infrastructure is big with 2 main buildings - Administrative Block and Education Block. Other than that there are 2 canteens, club rooms, practical halls, and a big ground. There are no hostel provided by the college. Students have to choose a mess for their stay.
Faculty: The teachers are the best here. Along with teaching, they help us in all sort of ways. Let it be any problem we are facing, they will always help us out. The curriculum is set according to our University - MAKAUT. It's not completely liable to make oneself industry ready. Next comes the Semester exams. Exams are easily if you've studied. Students are monitored through webcams installed in every classroom.

It is a C grade institute of engineering and management.
Placements: Placement scenario in the college is very poor. There were nil placements for the last 2-3 years. They invite duplicate companies like Pansonic, not Panasonic. Fake jobs are also provided to some final year students. Though we made a blackout about this matter and asked the editor to resolve the issue, they promised us with fake words.
Infrastructure: You will get free Wi-Fi facility if it is NAAC visiting days in college; otherwise, entire Wi-Fi will be secured. Almost 50% of computers and lab equipment doesn't work. Even ACs doesn't work in labs. Some of the labs don't even have a ceiling fan. They didn't clean the classrooms. The big problem is that all the bathrooms are uncleaned. A bad smell will be coming even after 2-3 hours of college starting time. They may clean bathrooms once a month. Maybe Sealdah Station bathroom is much cleaner than this.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members in the college are very good. They teach well and try to conduct regular classes. They try to look into each student. You will be asked to give a valid reason if you are very irregular. But some teachers are very bad, they reduce lab marks for their own personal problems.
Other: Though they cannot provide placements, they conduct fest maybe once in 5 years. The renovation is done on a need basis. If there are MAKAUT visit or NAAC visit days, then they will repaint the whole college, clean the bathrooms, labs, etc. There will be chaos and fighting event every year at the time of registration of your exam fee. They make students wait for a long time so that they can earn overtime payments.

The college provided good experience with great culture.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata in terms of facilities, teaching and infrastructure, but it is not at all good in terms of placements. They do not make any efforts for placements. Only some small companies used to visit the college each year, and they used to select only 5% of the students. The placement cell is good, and the TPO is also very supportive but maximum students remain unemployed each year.
Infrastructure: The college is very good in terms of infrastructure and locality. The campus is covered by 30-acres under green surroundings which makes it even better. The college has well-equipped labs and libraries. Apart from academics, the college also arranges both cultural and technical fests once in a year. The college culture is fantastic, and everyone is helpful in every way.
Faculty: All engineering and business graduation courses are available in the college. Some faculty members are excellent with huge knowledge and always help students whenever they need. Teachers are very good and always ensure that each student gains more practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge. The HODs in college are also the best.
Other: Except for placements, CIEM is good in all aspects.

Satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: We had two on campus drive and two pool campus drive. Crescent Technosoft and Aksara Infotech visited our college. Looking forward for some good companies to come in the near future. We are given industrial readiness training. Hope to implement those knowledge.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, library and other facilities are well provided. The library does not have all up to date books, and the canteen food is average in a very low cost. No hostel facility is provided by the college. No such issues are faced regarding facilities. If we face problem regarding any thing we are allowed to speak with the higher authority.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very co-operative. They clear our doubts. They help us in every step. Many of them are highly knowledgeable. We do have several interactive seminars where we are trained about job interviews. We do get industrial exposures and our course curriculum is also useful.
