Other: Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) is academically is worst. My sole reason to join BCET was their fee structure which was quite affordable then. And after I was admitted, I found out that my admission here was based on thousands and thousands of lies. The most horrible lie was that BCET was a sister branch of BIT. The infrastructure was worse. Facilities were below average. Professors were not experienced. Not that there weren't any bright student in the college. There were hundreds but without even the minimal support of lecturers and trustees, how far can one go? 50% of the lab equipment’s were broken. And those who made it to the final year somehow, it was a nightmare. Elective subjects were being forced upon us. Those who opted for a different elective, they had to study on their own as no lecturer was assigned for them. Fools, who had no idea of what the students were working on, were assigned as Internal guides for the final semester Projects. College placement cell was very poor. Our placement in charge was someone who could hardly read, write or speak English. Students, had to draft mails and send it to various organisations. Hardly any organisations that wanted to conduct placements at our college, and those who did agree, the trustee shoo them away because "such big organisations are to be treated well and that would cost the college a fortune."
