Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. None of the companies visited the college for placement for our batch. So, some students tried for themselves, and some of them went for higher studies. Same is the case for internships, as no company visited the college for internships. We did internships by ourselves.

Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi during my time, and I suppose it may be there now. The classrooms are just average as the infrastructure is old. Sports facility in the college was good. The canteen is also average and has fewer varieties. Hostel rooms in the college are like that of a typical government college.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are good and experienced and trained in delivering lectures. They are also friendly with the students and are helping in nature. Industry exposure in the campus is quite limited as no industrial visit took place during my tenure there. The course curriculum is useful and good.

Other: It’s an awesome college with 70 acres of land. Principal Sir is too good and Biotech staff is awesome and cool. TPC is not that much great but still they are giving their best. Hostels are not up to the mark but internet facility is good and fast, both LAN and Wi-Fi. Nearby roaming places are Pandori Temple, Pathankot.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from a board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Information Technology/ informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies & obtained the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engg. Trade from (PSBTE & IT) or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible with the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). OR Candidates who have passed 2 years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal shall be eligible.
