Our college provides good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are offered from the best companies. A high percentage of students are hired for internships, and the company offers full-time jobs. Role offered is as engineer trainer, computer programmer, and students can also join in Indian Army, Navy and Airforce, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Hotels in our college were better than others. We had facilities like Wi-Fi, indoor play hall, Tv room and students were also provided with LAN room with LAN ports. Food served was the best and was as per student's menu. Labs were fully advanced and updated. Medical facilities were great, and an ambulance was provided in harsh and difficult cases. An external canteen was also available where we can buy everything like necessary items. A bank was also available on campus for easy fee payments and cash withdrawal. They also conduct games and sports, which make you physically stronger.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful. You will experience many things on campus. The courses offered are best all over Punjab. It is called as number one government college among other colleges. Teachers were well-educated and PhD holders. They provided us with knowledge from the books and also new technologies which are currently in markets.
Other: It is a great campus and the campus crowd is good.

My Dream College 'Beant college of engineering and technology, placement cell helps alot in placement
Placements: The placement cell helps alot in placement but it depends upon how do you perform at the interview or the exam taken by the company. The company here coming are like Infosys, sun Microsoft, IBM. Sometimes army also come to pick the best candidates for the selection.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good it has all the labs and central library having all the books it also have the sports field and there is also badminton volleyball lawn tennis courts. The campus has lush green lawns. It is also eco friendly and it also has greenery.
Faculty: Most of faculty have done Ph.D. and are very helpful. The curriculum of course helps in the overall development of the students it also have extra activities. It holds two fest annually. The first fest is technical fest and the other fest is cultural fest.

Good infrastructure, good college life. Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements.
Placements: Student placement is almost nill because no ECE company visited the college this year. Last year, our 25% seniors were placed because many companies visited the college. They got an average package of Rs. 2,40,000. The highest package was Rs. 3,60,000 and the lowest package was Rs. 1,80,000.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only for the hostelers. No Wi-Fi facilities are available for day-scholars. There is also a net lab available for the students. The library is well-maintained and big in size. Students can easily access the library. A medical doctor is also available in the college. The classrooms are good but in summer, the cooling system is bad because the number of fans is less. The labs are well-maintained but all the necessary equipment is not available.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very highly qualified and knowledgeable but some are not. They cannot clear the concept of the students because I think their own concept is not cleared. Some teachers are very helpful but some always talk rudely whenever students ask for help and they try to escape from it.

Below average college located in a backward area.
Placements: Very poor placement record. No MNC or Indian company visited for the placement drives. Even small companies are not visiting due to the backward area. Some of the institutes visit but they are not enough. Placement cell is not willing to invite companies to the company for the job fair.
Infrastructure: Very average infrastructure. The college was built a very long time ago and no renovation has taken place since then. Drinking water is not up to the mark. Hostels are in a very poor condition. No proper canteen in the college and no chairs in the department.
Faculty: The faculty is good but not willing to teach. Teachers are well qualified but it does not reflect in the way of their of teaching. Also, they misuse their power and include personal problems with students in rating the internal marks. Also, they speak very badly.

Good college located in a backward area.
Placements: Very bad placement record. No MNC or Indian companies visit for the drive. Students have to manage at their own level. Some of the small institutes visit for the campus placements but they hire for very less money and thus placement record is very poor.
Infrastructure: Average infrastructure. Built long time ago and there has been no renovation from a long time. The facility of drinking water is bad too and there is no good canteen in the college. So students are mostly seen sitting in the lawn and in the departmental blocks. No chairs in the department too. Thus infrastructure is not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are good. Good support from the faculty and other staff members. Lab attendants are not that good. Teachers are good and supportive but sometimes they misuse their powers. Also, if they are having a personal problem with a student, it reflects out in their internal marks.

Disappointing placements in 2015.
Placements: From the placement point of view, my college is not so good because this is a government college and the companies prefer private colleges instead of the government ones. However, few companies visit the college like Videocon, Trigent, Eclarx, etc. Few students got placed in Trigent at the package of 4 lakhs per anum. On the other hand, in join campus placement many students got placed in top MNCs like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc. Overall, the placement of our college is disappointing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the classrooms, labs, libraries, medical facilities, and sports facilities are available in the college. The whole campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The quality of food is good in the canteen as well as in the hostel mess. I didn't face any issues regarding infrastructure in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and all the staff members of all the departments are helpful, both professionally and personally. They understand the problems of the students and try to get a solution for it. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. Many seminars were held from time to time, which were very helpful for us.

Somewhat dissatisfied with faculty and placements.
Placements: The placement rate was not so high. Only a few companies came for the placement in our batch. In earlier batches, Infosys also used to come., but now, only two-three companies came. Mostly, CSE students were placed and the packages were also not very high at about 2-3 lacs maximum.
Infrastructure: As it is a government college, the infrastructure was not so good. The labs were fine but they did not have much equipment and machines. The library was not very big but we use to easily get our course-related books. Hostels were not very clean and they were too old.
Faculty: The faculty team was not up to the mark. Although some teachers were good and use to teach with full dedication, some teachers were not very efficient as they could not clear the doubts of the students. There was no industry exposure.

Beant College of Engineering - quality life.
Placements: The only area where Beant college lacks behind all other government colleges is in the sector of placements. The placements here are disheartening, there is hardly any student who is placed through campus placement procedure, as companies do not visit the campus for placements. Though last year and this year, 2 companies of information technology visited our campus and hired 4-5 students offering an average salary of 2.5 lakhs. Regarding internships, students are enrolled by their own link and efforts.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Beant college is very good. A green campus of around 60 acres. Every department has its own separate building, well-equipped classrooms with beamer and desks. Has a large library and computer lab where students can utilize their extra time to the fullest. A separate medical wing was also there, having a skilled doctor. There is also the provision for gym and sports in the colleges. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
Faculty: The faculty members here are highly qualified. They give support whenever needed. The teachers have a deep knowledge about their subjects and are well trained in their departments. They teach using books and presentations. The student to teacher ratio was also good, having a different teacher for every subject. Though there was a lack of industry exposure as the teaching was only confined to the classroom.
Other: Overall, it's a very good college with a great hostel, living conditions, the environment here is very good, there is no issues of senior and junior, everyone enjoys and has friendly terms with another. There are two fests conducted every year- cultural fest and technical fest in alternative semesters. In addition to this, sports fest is also celebrated once in a year.
