    Very satisfying and brings up confidence within us after joining here.
    Placements: The percentage of students placed in computer science courses is around 10%. The highest package offered 2 years before was 27 LPA, this year the highest package is 9 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA and the lowest package is 3-3.5 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is Infosys. Almost all the students got free internships as the internship is necessary for a college degree certificate. Top roles are like front end and back end developed.
    Infrastructure: The facilities of the campus are separate classrooms for every course. The college has libraries, sports facilities, a hostel, and two canteens. The quality of food in the canteen is average. They provide sports facilities. The ground is not maintained. A library with limited books and journals. The college has a seminar hall.
    Faculty: If you take the initiative to approach your teachers. They can be quite helpful with academics and subject-related matters, as they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The overall quality of instruction can be average. The course curriculum is relevant to some extent, but certain topics feel unnecessary. This curriculum does not adequately prepare students for the industry. The level of difficulty of exams in the college is moderate.
    Other: I choose this course because of the high industrial demand in the market. The only I wish to improve myself is apart from the academic syllabus. I need to improve my skills in coding to an extreme level. Events like Aakriti, Onam, and Ayudha puja are celebrated grandly.

    Good college days, but the placements could be better.
    Placements: Placements were not very great. Although there were more than 200 people in my batch, almost half of them did not secure a placement while in college. The roles offered depend on the company's requirements, but both technical and non-technical roles are provided
    Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is excellent, with a good campus, classrooms, a library, labs, and clean washrooms. There is a large playground, and also encouragement towards sports, cultural activities, as well as studies. The hostel is good, but the canteen food is not so great. Medical facilities are also available.
    Faculty: Lecturers are generally good, but some newly joined ones lean more towards a school-like approach rather than a college culture. They treat engineering students as if they were school students, which is not ideal. While these lecturers are qualified, the teaching quality is good, but at other times, they just read from the PowerPoint slides. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate, neither too easy nor too hard, making it average.
    Other: The course was good and fun, with classmates. However, improvements should be made in placements and in how students are treated (if this has already improved, then that's great, as I am a 2024 batch pass-out). The college organizes a fest every year for three consecutive days, which is filled with programs, sports, and other fun activities. Additionally, various clubs conduct numerous events every month, allowing students to participate and enjoy themselves.

    It is a place with clam environment, and good motivation to start.
    Placements: My course is recently launched blend as this course is recently added to the market. Only 4 batches are there as of now in which mine is the 3rd batch, no pass out from my batch. It is a new course and for the 4th semester, they are trying to get placed. Few of them are placed recently with an average salary package offered around 6 LPA.
    Infrastructure: All the facilities are there in our college, except Wi-Fi. Only 3 to 4 Wi-Fi points are there where not everyone can use it as far as I know every student needs internet to install any application from class. They must use their own internet for rest facilities but in a small range.
    Faculty: For my branch, faculty members are supportive. They do encourage to participate in external and co-curriculum completion. As for the internal exam, our college conducts 2 exams. If the labs are there then another exam for the same. Also, semester exams are conducted by VTU. It is kind of difficult to pass and score good marks.
    Other: As our campus is in some hill area, no fun places to visit the surroundings. We have to travel like an hour to city also for the college fest. We conduct 1 main fest is that Aakriti its a 3 days continuous fest where DJ night is also there. It is the main and big fest conducted in our college except that there is Avuda pooja celebrated for the main attraction Pilli Gobu, tiger dance by students its conducted for one day.

    Canara Engineering College experience.
    Placements: This is a new course, and I'm one of the founding batch students who joined in 2021. Placement is heavily dependent on our skills and exposure to real-world projects. We are automatically eligible for all placement drives that are available for the CS batch. The average package is around 3 LPA.
    Infrastructure: The college is poorly structured, but they are improving the infrastructure at an exponential rate. The college bus facility is good, and the buses are brand new. The college hostel is pretty decent, and the gym is also good. They support us in sports and games.
    Faculty: The faculty members are the best part of this college. They are very friendly and helpful, and if we want to learn from them, they will give their best to bring out the fullest in us. The average age gap is also low, so there is less generation gap between lecturers and students.
    Other: I chose this course because I liked business and also love coding. Computer science and business systems seemed like a perfect blend of the two. The college fest, called "Aakriti," is held every March, and other festivals are celebrated throughout the year. The college also conducts extracurricular activities and encourages students to participate in sports. The campus is beautiful, and the surroundings are very good.

    Good college infrastructure and located in a very peaceful place.
    Placements: Until my batch came, there was some other placement officer, and for my bad luck, when I came into this college, everything changed, and placements are not good compared to earlier. The placement department has not given any statistics related to previously placed students.
    Infrastructure: The hostel doesn’t have Wi-Fi facility. The college now has very good infrastructure as all the buildings are new, and there is good lighting and ventilation in the classes. Coming to hostel facilities: No Wi-Fi, No good food available, Rooms are not worth the cost.
    Faculty: Faculty are very good at teaching and very student-friendly. They will always be ready to help us with each and every one of our doubts. The teachers are highly qualified and hold degrees like M.Tech and Ph.D. Semester exams are sometimes difficult as it is under VTU.
    Other: Aakrati is the best thing that happens here.

    Really good infrastructure campus and quality education.
    Placements: The placement training was very good, and they did a great job preparing us to meet the needs of the companies that interviewed us. In addition, every week we had a skill enhancement training session that helped us develop our skill sets. As a result, many of our seniors got placed in good companies with good packages.
    Infrastructure: Our college provides a hostel for students. The hostel infrastructure is very good, and the surrounding nature is also very good, providing a good ambience. However, food is not available in the hostel. Two canteens are located nearby that provide quality food. A mess is also available for hostel students.
    Faculty: We have the best lecturers at our college. They are friendly and supportive, and they provide quality education. They prepare us for both an academic career and a career in industry. This has been very helpful for me in pursuing my career goals.
