It is a very good college for graduation as well as diploma courses.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki and Reliance. Top roles are offered in this course. Students who score 60-70% of marks are eligible for placements.

Infrastructure: Laboratories and classrooms are very good. Hostel facilities are great. Digital classrooms are well-maintained. The food quality is average. Medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is good.

Other: Plastic engineering course has the best option to get high paid jobs. The course has good scope for industries in several areas. Events are conducted such as fresher party and annual party. Sports events and cultural events are also held in this college. Extracurricular activities are organised.

Review of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Almost 100% of placements students can get in this college. The highest salary offered is Rs 60,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 20,000 per month. Reliance gives Rs 60,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs 30,000 per month. Almost 100% of students get internships. Best companies are coming to campus for recruitment. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 20,000 - Rs 30,000 per month.

Infrastructure: In this college, the classrooms are clean, the hostel facility is good, free Wi-Fi is enabled, and all books are available in the library. Hostel food is not good. There are no medical facilities. Sports and games are also not available. Only they collect money, there is no function. It is the best college and the hostel is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and it makes students ready for industries, 1st two semesters are difficult to clear. The pass percentage is 90%. The location of this college is very good, and all teachers are well qualified. The teaching quality is not good, and the principal will change once a month.

Other: Events, functions, and extracurricular activities are not held during the lockdown.

Our institution is well-known in the polymer industry.

Placements: Our college won't give 100% placements. Academically good students with proper knowledge can get jobs. If you want to get a job, you need to be the best. Else you won't get a chance to join any job.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and the library has books from which students can gain good knowledge. All kinds of sports are played. The canteen is also good for hangout, and the quality food provided is also good. Labs have all types of instruments and chemicals.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they provide notes after every lecture. Even I have done a diploma from CIPET, and after that, I am pursuing B.Tech and willing to do M.Tech too from this college, which makes me more knowledgeable in the polymer industry. Faculty members are good, and they help and look for each student.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is quite different from others. It is not like mechanical or electrical, and it has its own study of polymer.

Students who want to pursue a PhD degree should definitely opt for this college.

Placements: Placements are very poor. The placement officer changes very frequently, and the companies that are invited are very few and offered an average salary of around Rs. 12,000 per month. Recruiters were mainly manufacturing-based companies. Usual roles offered were a trainee or temporary GETs. Internships were not provided by the college, and we had to search for it on our own.

Infrastructure: Our college academic infrastructure was good. Classrooms were spacious except a few. The location of the college was very good as transportation facilities are well-connected to all sort of vehicles, be it government, buses or taxis. The academic building lacks Wi-Fi facility, but the library was well-maintained and also had a digital library section. For girls, the hostel was far away from college, which was hired on rent by management. For medical facility, students have to depend on friends for support or hostel warden for support.

Faculty: Teachers are one of the best that the college provides. All the teachers are well-versed with the knowledge of their respective subjects. Most of them were PhD holders or were undergoing their PhD. Students were helped by them whenever required. The course curriculum is well-defined so that students can join the industry as an engineer or can opt for higher studies in the relevant fields.

Other: Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology as the name says plastics technology is a unique field and also gaining popularity. The college is governed by Ministry of Chemicals, so students can be very successful in the long run. Apart from studies, students committee is involved in organising a lot of events so that students can have all-around development.

Placements: Good placements are provided in our college. Almost 85% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.45 LPA. The salary package offered was good and suitable for a fresher. The chances of getting a job in our college are 65%. With this success rate, people have been working all around the world in the polymer field.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are excellent. You can have a perfect combination of curriculum and extracurricular activities. Students were encouraged by faculty members to put their efforts in study and in sports as well.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly qualified and experienced. Most of the time, they guide and motivate students to focus on studies to achieve a better goal in life. All of the faculty members were helpful and kind. The teaching skill was also very good.
