The candidate have to appear for college level entrance exam + selection process and PI .The entrance exam consist of two steps. Step one will be entrance exam (Computer Based exam) and shotlisted candidates goes for selection process. Step two consist of medical test, PI, skill test, apttitude and such test towards the healing ministry. However, for Christain candidates applying under the Minority Network category, a written test in Bible knowledge will be conducted at  Vellore campus. Further, CMC Vellore accepts AP EAMCET for admission to its BSc nursing course. Candidates must seperately apply for the exam and appear for the exam.

The last round closing rank for CMC Vellore among the General HS category candidates was 84. CMC Vellore NEET cutoff 2024 was released for reserved and unreserved categories belonging to the Home State quota. 

Among the OBC HS category candidates, the cutoff rank was closed at 35 in the last round. Therefore, it is possible to get admission at 60 rank for the OBC HS category candidates.
