Review about CIT Gubbi college.

Placements: Pretty good placements are there in our college. There are very good placements for IT branches and good placements for core electronics and electrical branches in our college. But it has very bad placements in civil and mechanical branches. So students can join the top branches.

Infrastructure: There is even free Wi-Fi facilities in selected areas of our college. There is very good Wi-Fi facility in hostel. Students can get best hostel facilities in the college with cheaply about 60000 per month. Labs are also pretty good, but some have old equipments.

Faculty: Some teachers are not very helpful, but many teachers are very helpful and well knowledgeable. Students can expect good teaching level here, but sometimes students should put some efforts. The college is not much strict. But 75 percent of attendance is must.

If you want to get successful in your life, I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA - 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 6 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships from our course in various companies Wipro, HCL, and 6D Technologies.

Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities for students. Our college has labs and a library which are good enough to gain knowledge. Classrooms are well-maintained with gadgets. The food served in the hostel and canteen is good and provides vegetarian food. Our college is famous for its sports record.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. Our college is under VTU. The board exam papers come from VTU Belgaum. The syllabus is difficult, but it depends on students' hard work.

Other: Our college is good in all aspects.

Dissatisfied by placement, other than that everything is very good.

Placements: 1.10% (now it has been improved) it was at our time, but this year's placement has been improved to 50%. 2. I am not sure about the salary. 3. TCS was the top recruiter.

Infrastructure: 1. Very big library with all books needed for the course and also for competitive exams like GATE. IEEE access in labs. 2. The medical facility was there. Separate boys and girls hostel with good maintenance and food. We used to play all kinds of games and sports.

Faculty: The teaching quantity was good. They were interactive and they had good knowledge of subjects. They were good at there courses.

Other: 1. It is an evergreen field, and I was interested to study electronic rather than other subjects. 2. Few contents of the course we're old and not in use. I think it should be replaced by new ones. 3 Every year we used to have a big fest for two days. Fully enjoyment. All good activities were supported by the college.

Satisfied with the college. Not bad in the placements. Good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are not much yet, but some of the companies hire some of the students. Maybe the placements will increase in the upcoming years. I heard about one student who got hired by one company, and she got the package of 3.5 LPA and that sounds like good. Monthly, The college conducts one internship per every month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is super. We have sufficient campus. Good quality of labs. There are good classrooms. It has a big library. Medical facilities are available. The college has a cricket ground. There are good hostel rooms. Finally, we have a canteen, and we have a good food for a lower price.

Faculty: The faculty are well qualified and well knowledgeable, and they got good teaching skills. The student to the faculty ratio is very good. We get exposure to the industry. The course curriculum is very useful. They give notes after each module which is much important.

Other: In even semester, the events are conducted. An event named Flair is conducted in odd semester also, which is a big event in our college and that grabs 2 days.

The review of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology.

Placements: They will give you an opportunity, but you have to grab it. The placement team will not take care of students who are studying there, and the college is not responsible for you if you do not have a job. If you are good in English and somewhat have technical knowledge, you can survive, and it's left to you.

Infrastructure: The building was built in 1999, but still looking good in white colour. The classrooms are big and can accommodate 60 members comfortably. Coming to labs, it's good when compared to all other colleges which I saw. We have VTU, a second good cricket pitch in our college and volleyball courts are also available. I would give 7 out of 10 for the campus.

Faculty: The faculty are the most important thing in college. They are good, some faculty members are friendly, and some are not. Coming to lab experience, some faculty members don't know the experiments, and they will take help from office boys. Other than this, everything is fine the faculty members are good, and they teach well.

Other: Every year fest will happen and an ethnic day was organised.

This college is neither good nor bad. People with skills get selected in the placements.

Placements: This college has very fewer placements and training. They take a proper care of every student. They help the students take up the projects. We need more campus placements. Very fewer companies are visiting our college. The campus is a very burden for us. There is no hope of campus placement in our college.

Infrastructure: There is infrastructure in this college. Many facilities are provided to the students. The college has a very good library. There are medical facilities as well. The college does extra work for sports and extracurricular activities.

Faculty: The faculty are very good and of helping nature. They are getting very good results in every semester. Every teacher provides a very good care and support for the students, not only for the exams but also for the extracurricular activities as well. Our HOD of ECE department gives extra care to us which is good.

Other: Flair is the event organised by this college. There is only one scholarship called Vidyasiri.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There are no placements provided. They say 'we will call placements' but finally, they will call some call centre jobs, and they will say, it is IT job. If we didn't pass that one, then they will tell it is your problem, and finally, they will blame us. I will suggest you never join this college if you want to pursue the best career.

Infrastructure: It is not much good regarding the infrastructure. It is same as I said in placements. It is a waste of time in this college. Sports block will be there, but no one can use that. Every time, the college and classes will be there. The buildings are good, but there is no greenery at all. Overall, out of 10, I can say 6.

Faculty: When I was studying there, few faculty members are good, but few others are too bad. The faculty members don't know the concepts. They will mug all the concepts, and they will come to the class. They will explain, which we can't even understand. Somehow, few faculty are good, and we learnt something from them.

Our college needs a lot of improvements. What is there is not upto the mark.

Placements: Placements are very rare. No reputed companies come for campus selection at all. Not even internships are provided. No matter how students put efforts. One among 100s gets placed outside the campus. We are looking forward for some improvements.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay. But the lab infrastructure needs some improvement. They don't provide sufficient equipments for the students. They just make us adjust with the availability. they don't even complete all the experiments. They are least bothered about it.

Faculty: Faculty and department is strict for some reasons. But they are not giving whatever is needed. They are very rigid. Internal average are not given. Atleast improvement test for the Ill student must be provided.
