The faculty members teaching is good. Nature of college is good.

Placements: The placements are not good than other colleges like Siddaganga Institute of Technology. The placement companies are asking to deposit money to them and laptop also. We have to work for 2 years, and then only they will give our deposited money. The placements are better when compared some other government colleges.

Infrastructure: The faculty members are very good and well knowledgeable. The Wi-Fi facility is a little bit okay, but the speed is not okay. The labs are very good to do experiments. The classrooms are good and comfortable. The library is superb. We get every semesters book, and it has a digital library too. There are no medical facilities available to the students. We can participate in all sports.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to all students. They clarify the doubts of students. Here, the teachers are qualified and well-experienced. They are also knowledgeable. The teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is very useful. I didn't get industry exposure.

Other: Fest celebration is very good. So many different events are held on fest time. Nature of the college is very good. Scholarship facilities are good.

The people who want to be well disciplined and want to score good marks can take admissions here.

Placements: As of now, the senior students who passed out from the college are saying that they didn't get placed from the college because the rural companies are neglecting us, so as of now, there are no placements. Maybe in future, companies prefer us for the job and give us a platform to develop their company.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have a good cricket ground, the library with plenty of books of around 64,000 books. We have the best labs compared to others colleges. We have a hospital in our college for an emergency if any.

Faculty: The teaching staff are very intelligent and friendly. They will ask us to clear our doubts even if they are small so that we gain knowledge from it. They are very supportive. They help in project preparation, and they talk friendly with us. They take us to the industrial visit.

Other: Our college was awarded the best rural college in Karnataka, and we have very good labs. The surrounding environment is very clean. We have bus facility from Tumkur, and we even have government buses to college. So, for the people who want to gain knowledge and have to participate in sports, our college is the best, but only one bad thing is that our college has no placements.

A genuine review of the Channabasaweshwara Institute of Technology and about it's real nature

Placements: The placements are too low in this college. The mechanical engineering students don't get placed. No companies are visiting our college. The students from other branches such as computer science, electronics and electricals get placed with high salary packages. For the mechanical engineering students, the maximum salary package is Rs. 15,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is affordable to the poor students also. There are many types of opportunities. We can pay the fees in instalments. The library fees, the bus fees and all other fees are a bit low only. For mechanical engineering, the fee is Rs. 7 lakhs. And for computer science, it is Rs. 8 lakhs.

Faculty: The faculty are the best. A few of them are strict, and a few are student-friendly. The HODs are kind and generous. One of our HODs, Mr GSK sir, is so kind that he supports all the students. Other than this, they also clear our every doubt among the others. They give the attendance and the internal assessment marks as well. Our faculty is the best in Tumkur.

Good at academics but very poor in placements

Placements: Placements in CIT, I can say, is zero for mechanical branch. Few companies visit campus but they end up hiring no one. Placement officer works so hard to help us but because of the communication problem of students, no one hires. The college management is trying too hard to make good placements happen.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not bad at all. Labs are highly equipped with expensive apparatus and machines, well-maintained and clean. But there is no elevator in the mechanical branch block. There is no Wi-Fi actually you will be charged a penalty if they find you using mobile on the campus.

Faculty: The faculty is fine, not bad. They are extremely helpful and have good knowledge about the subject. We get good a fair amount of industry experience and they took us to few industrial trips. Overall, it's a good experience academic-wise. There are some professors who are extremely knowledgeable and are very helpful.
