College is not too bad for studies, it's okay. It is a growing institution in the upcoming days.
Placements: I am not sure about guarantee placements, but still, Placements are not bad in this college, where more than 30% skilled students are placed every year. The highest package in my branch was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5LPA No MNC companies was existed until now but there are still regional companies like sinfosys, techasoft pvt Ltd., QNZ Software technologies, etc. The institution provides some Industrial training through NPTEL courses .
Infrastructure: Basically, our institution is located in a rural area, but still, there are no compromises in the basic facilities provided by the college; the projectors were arranged for required topics; the library is well maintained; a digital library is also available; and almost all academic syllabuses are available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-experienced and highly qualified graduates with degrees like M.Tech and others. Basically, this is one of the hardest courses in engineering, but it is also an evergreen branch in engineering. Semester exams depend on the university because they are unpredictable in terms of university activities.
Other: I was very interested in electrical and it is one of the fields that is evergreen in engineering It is very complicated to study rather than practical, we wish to conduct more industrial practice Fests like "Advaitha" and "Fair" celebrated once in academic year.

The college is good for the students.
Placements: The placements on the campus are good. When we were studying, the placements were less, but now, a fair number of companies visiting for the campus interview. But still the reputed companies are less. The college must try to work on bringing the reputed companies for the campus interview.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and the library has the enormous number of books of different authors of different publications. The sports have been good, but more importance is given to cricket than the other sports. The college consists of the hostel facilities. The Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus and the hostels.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are well-qualified, and they have great knowledge towards their subjects. They are helpful to the students. The teaching quality is good. They would also take us to industries for giving us better knowledge, and they are friendly in nature.
Other: The fair number of events will be organised on the campus for the students.

Unbiased review of CIT, Gubbi
Placements: First of all, don't join this college in hope of placement. Among 6/7 hundred final-year students, hardly 9/10 got placed that too getting a low package of 15-25,000 per month. Recently, the NAAC team reviewed this college by coming here and the college failed in this category though the overall rating given by them is B+. In their annual prospectus, they give many known company names as they come to the college but the reality is bitter. From some teachers or staff, I came to know that they don't have many details of previously placed students. Some local software companies came here.
Infrastructure: The college is far away situated in very remote place from the city at nearly 100 km from Bangalore There is a Wi-Fi facility on the campus but only in the library where we can open only 2 or 3 specific sites. The use of mobiles on the campus is restricted. Library: Small and most of the updated versions and course material are unavailable, The newspaper is available daily. Medical facility: bad Classrooms: average Lab: Equipment used are old, In all labs, where computers used are not connected to the Internet. Sports: Cricket and volleyball grounds are there, and an indoor badminton playground is also there, but not used actively. GYM: For the gym, a place is there but nothing is available. The canteen food is good. Hostel: Rooms are average and water is not good, Hot water is not available as they stopped it for cost-cutting. Food is a major issue. They don't make it properly though they have the things. Complaining to the warden or the director is of no use. I also finally decided to leave the hostel by the next month. Overall, the hostel management is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are friendly and helpful towards students. They have their knowledge in their respective subjects which they teach. Each teacher has his or her own method of teaching and tries their best. The teacher to student ratio is nearly 1:30 (Branch-wise, it is different, it is an average of all branches). In the self-assessment report the college has given, most of the things they wrote are fake in the manner that they seem true. Industry exposure is less. The course curriculum is not so updated, though the university changes it from time to time. This course update is purely depended on VTU. But faculty members are so dedicated that they completed the course on time.
Other: I would never suggest anyone to join this college for its hostel and placement facilities and if anyone joined, never expect placements. Try to earn knowledge. Don't be a Chatur Ramalingam and mug up the things. If you have the knowledge, nobody can stop you. The above details are from seniors, personal experience, from staff and teachers.

It can be a good college if the rules are proper.
Placements: Placements were good, it depends on students that how students were going to represent them in front of interviewers. Almost all students got internships from this college. The lowest stipend offered was Rs 300 per month, and the highest salary was Rs 7,000 per month. There were some faculty members for placements training.
Infrastructure: All kinds of facilities were provided by this college. Wi-Fi password was also provided, classrooms were good. Laboratories were excellent. Canteen was not good as well as hostel rooms. The infrastructure was good. The library was filled with many books both academic as well as many other books.
Faculty: Faculty members were very supportive if a student step in. They were very much helpful for students who put an effort to learn. Teachers in college were very well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also good. The teacher uses the board for teaching.
