Review of College of Engineering, Anna University.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Caterpillar, etc. These companies provided jobs to MCA students. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered by Microsoft to MCA students was 22 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 50-60% of MCA students got placed in top MNCs. The remaining 3% of students got internships. In the previous year, my friend Ashis got an internship in Mindtree during his 3rd semester. Top roles offered are software engineer trainee, application developer, analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs and a central library in our college. The central library has more than 1,00,000 books. There is a separate library for each department. Smart classrooms are available in our college. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostels have separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian messes and amenities for normal and international students. There are 2 health centers which work 24X7 for any kind of emergencies.
Faculty: The teaching is very good. Almost 90% of staff members are Ph.D. scholars. Our DSA and network faculty members completed their Ph.D.s from France and London. The course curriculum is constructed based on the course and industrial knowledge. The semester exams for MCA are less complex compared to B.Tech and BE students. The pass percentage is based on the assessment, attendance, and semester exams.

A College with Numerous Facilities.
Placements: According to the 2022 placement reports, nearly 150 companies approached this university for placement drives. More than 1500 students received offers from those companies. The highest salary package offered to the students will be above 36 LPA, and the average package will be 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: It was a stress-free environment for the students. There is a library with various book collections, including e-books and journals. The hostel provides numerous facilities, like laundry, recreation rooms, separate sports grounds for each game, and so on.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly helpful and motivating, as they always focus on resolving students' problems. It is a little bit difficult to clear the semester examinations, so students have to study harder to clear the examinations on the first attempt itself.

I would highly recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Almost 40% of students got internships in product-based companies including Caterpillar. The training was also provided for alumni in top product-based companies.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi was available in our library. It also provided a central library. The food served was like a 5-star hotel. You will get chicken 65, fish fry, ghee, curd, pickle, biryani, and fruits daily. There were four bedded hostel rooms.
Faculty: Professors were highly experienced except a few. The pass percentage was 95%. The course curriculum was good with the latest technology and hands-on laboratory on IoT and android.
Other: Our campus life was very good. They projected movies in the stadium. College day functions and DJ night were also conducted. Around 50% of scholarships were provided to eligible students.

It is the best college for MCA.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are VISA, DE Shaw, American Bank, etc. Almost 70% of students got internships at companies like Zoho, ICU Medical, Kyndryl, and Garrett Motion. Top roles offered are IoT, software development, and blockchain.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi labs, a playground, an air-conditioned library, a gym, digital classrooms, etc. The hostel quality is decent. The food served in the hostel is good and provides vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Free medical facilities are available for students. The mess facility is good. We have four different canteens in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, but a few are rude. The course curriculum is relevant and includes many subjects using current technology. Semester exams are not very difficult. Students can score well if they study a month before exams. The pass percentage is above 60%. Almost 97% of students pass each semester. A few students have backlogs, but they clear them in the next round.
Other: After BCA, MCA is a very good course to choose. There are many subjects in this course, so our college should reduce some of them.

Infrastructure: Almost everything in our college. They have good lab with internet connection, Wi-Fi connection everywhere, classroom with projectors and internet connection, nice playground, parking facility in all departments, Number of hostels and mess are there, Health center also inside the campus with free of cost, Number of canteens with variety of food.
Faculty: Every professors are well trained and experienced and they conveying very clearly to us
Every curriculum are relevant and enhance our skills for the newest features. They provide mobile application development, web application development and how to create and deploy software so many good things in a curriculum. Additionally they added Business data analysis classes also. There is no difficulty in semester exams and pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I choose the MCA for enhancing my programming career. We can learn everything about the Computer applications in this course.

Applicants need to clear UG Degree (3 Years) in B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent), or passed Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduation Level and obtained mentioned marks (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC and SCA candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examinations.
