My honest review about my college.

Placements: Still, I did not attend the placements but to my knowledge Wipro Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Citi Bank, Capgemini, Gate, Infosys, Bajaj Allianz, RBS, Sutherland, AMP Technology, HCL, and Jain Housing were the companies that offered on our college campus. Many were selected through on-campus interviews.

Infrastructure: Internet was available for assignments. Since I am locality I used to come by from my house as per the opinion about other my classmates. Hostel facilities were not upto the level. There was hygienic food. Rooms were also very compact. In each room, two or three people will be accommodated.

Faculty: The course curriculum was relevant. But the structure of course was not up to date. Faculty members were good and they helped you understand the concepts. They were well educated and they had doctorate degrees in their field. However, it's really important to manage time and study hours to excel. We were very interested in studies as our faculty members were so eager to teach us. We were very interested in studies as our faculty members were so eager to teach us. It was the toughest course I ever attended or heard of someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years was hard earned, a lot to learn. Professors there set a very high bench mark for students. Industry-level assignments were done in the course curriculum. Professors were not allowed to cheat or copy.

Best college for MCA, I love my university.

Placements: 70 to 80% of students get placements from our University of Madras. Top companies are visiting our college, like Wipro, Tata, Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, and many more. Approximately 30% of students get an internship. Our salary package starts at 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our university provides the best facilities. Classrooms and lab rooms are very well maintained. AC and projectors are connected in all lab rooms. The campus area is very big, and so many trees and plants are there. All functions and programs are arranged in our auditorium. The hostel and canteen facilities are good.

Faculty: All teachers are teaching us in a very effective and easy way; that's why we weren't confused in any subjects. We also get notes and suggestions, which help us on our semester exam. Exams are difficult but not impossible to pass, and our internal exam numbers were added in the semester.

I am satisfied only because of faculty members as they helped us.

Placements: Our college doesn't offer placements, and we need to search for jobs and internships on our own. However, alumni of our department help us by providing some ideas and little platforms. None of the companies visited here for placements. We need to work hard to get a job opportunity, which really suffered us a lot.

Infrastructure: Our campus and department facilities are good enough with labs, Wi-Fi and library. There are enough facilities in our department. In the hostel, the served food is good, but it needs to be better. Rooms cleaning staff members are not available all the time. Sports and games are not conducted.

Faculty: More than half of the teachers here are effectively helped us by providing lots of information and information about real-life. Their teaching quality is far better than others, but we need guidance to get jobs. Our college should provide placements. The course curriculum is relevant to us, but if there are placements, then it teaches us many things.

Other: Events and fest are not organised there. However, our college provides scholarships for us, which are really useful.

Fee is less. Except that, nothing is good for study here.

Placements: Overall, the university has a good reputation but neither computer science department has a placement cell, nor do they provide any assistance for placements. A couple of years ago, small companies came to the campus for recruitment but they have stopped because students were cheating in the exam.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, it is somewhat okay. We have a lab with net facility and one dedicated employee to maintain the facilities. But students are not capable of utilizing the existing facility. One of our seniors has donated Mac but no one has used it. So it is still idle.

Faculty: The course curriculum is same as all other universities in India. So no comment on that. Now coming to faculty, there's a very poor faculty. Except the HOD (in DAA) and one assistant professor (DS), no one has subject knowledge even of a moderate level. Neither do they have any knowledge nor have the willingness to learn.

50% satisfaction about university of Madras .

Placements: Department haven't approached any companies for Internship and Placements but with the help of Alumni they are doing their best ! Many students haven't got internship so many of us are worrying about our mini and major projects. Many subjects are taught just like that and we couldn't get the importance of that subject ! So we didn't get more information and knowledge about computer applications.

Infrastructure: There is no enough books for all students in the library. There is no librarian and managed by any PG students so students have to wait and approach the respective student to take a book from the library. Hostel facilities are not so good to explain. There is no university mess or canteen in Guindy campus !

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable, well qualified and the teaching quality is good enough. Some times the teachers will go just like that only taking attendance and went off just because they have their own work to do.
