M.Tech. in Electronics (VLSI Design) - Batch of 2016

It is a good college for B.Tech students, and it is not worth for M.Tech students.
Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed through the placement cell of the college. The college does not provide placements for M.Tech students. B. Tech students have a lot of placements, and many students got placed in MNCs. Still, some of the students in our batch are struggling to get a proper job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with proper labs. Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. The library has a variety of books. Study library is also available for boys for late-night studies. The hostel facility is good and can be improved. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the hostel. Food served in the hostel is very good. Hostels are bit costly compared to local hostels available in near the college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and it should be improved more in practical knowledge. The course curriculum offered was almost the extended portion of B.Tech. There is no hands-on practice on kits, tools, etc. The course curriculum does not make the students industry-ready, especially for electronic students.
Other: I had done my B.E in electronics and telecommunication and wanted to gain more knowledge in the electronics field, so I have chosen this course. Events and fests were well-organised by B.Tech students.

Q:   What is the fee for UG courses at College of Engineering - Pune?
    A:

The charge for UG courses at School of Designing - Pune (COEP) shifts relying upon the particular programme and year of review. Be that as it may, here's an overall outline:

    • MHT CET Quota: ?84,250
    • JEE Main Quota: ?84,250

These fees are the round figure fees and It will vary every year of courses.

Q:   Can I get into College of Engineering - Pune with 70% in JEE Main?
    A:

It's hard to say whether you can get into college of engineering  - Pune (COEP) with a 70% score in JEE Fundamental because of a few elements:

    • Admission through JEE Main is restricted: Just 20% of B.Tech seats at COEP are filled through JEE Main scores, while the leftover 80% depend on the Maharashtra Normal Entry Test (MHT CET). In this way, the opposition for JEE Main seats is a lot higher.
    • Percentage is less important than percent: JEE Main scores are accounted for as percentiles, not rates. A 70% score could mean an alternate percentile relying upon the trouble level of the test and the quantity of test takers.
