Not satisfied. But if you are a student who is looking to prepare for GATE this college is good.
Placements: There are just 2 companies for campus placement and their package is also only 4 LPA. The highest is also 4 LPA only. But for software we got 5 companies with the highest package 6 LPA. No internships are provided by college. The internships should be researched by the students themselves.
Infrastructure: We have a big library. The curriculum structure for our course is very good and is useful for many companies interests. The hostel food is very good. We have Non-Veg 3 times a week and single rooms are provided for final year students so as to prepare well for the GATE exam. The quality of food is also very good.
Faculty: Exams are easy. No Professors in our branch Only two assistant lectures and 4 guest lecturers. Curriculum is very much relevant to industry standards. Pass percentage is 85%. We have excellent industry relevant subjects such as managerial economics and accountancy, Process Simulation, plant design, Industrial Management etc.
Other: Chemical engineering is a vast course with technical expertise towards every industry including the medical field as well. Our college fests are good. Campus is neat. The results for exams are very late they will come after one year making it difficult for supply exams.

Review of College of Engineering, Sri Venkateswara University.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. It has a good placement cell. Almost 50-60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deccan, Infosys, etc., visit our campus. A minimum of 10-20 students are placed every year. Placements are conducted twice a year.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. Lab assistants are good with their experience but not up to the mark. Our classrooms are good. The maintenance of the department is very good. There are a lot of trees in front of the department.
Faculty: Teachers are not good, but a few teachers are excellent. They have good experience teaching students in a very different and innovative manner. There are two associate professors in our department. Our college has excellent teachers except for 2 to 3.
Other: This college is the best for enjoyment and studying, but it depends on the students. Students with a good set of skills will reach the top. Our college provides few facilities. A student gets a lot of time to build his life securely.

Money minded college. Dissatisfied!
Placements: No placements come to the university due to their low profile. Only 1 to 2 percent students were placed. Those jobs were related to software only. The packages for software jobs range about 4-5 LPA. No core company is interested to recruit from this college in chemical engineering.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good, but the lab assistants knew nothing related to the experiments. Library was good. Classrooms are good but teaching is not effective. Don't expect Wi-Fi in this college. Apart from that, hostel rooms are okay to live. Food is not good.
Faculty: Faculty was the worst. Only one professor was there for our department, remaining were assistant lecturers. The assistant lecturers were poor in subject knowledge. Their is no help from the department to gain knowledge in subjects, self perseverance can only help you.

SVUCE is a good college for students pursuing higher studies.
Placements: Students in our college got a good percentage. Many companies, like Infosys, Tata, etc., are offering jobs. There are many companies that are offering a minimum of 5 LPA. Our college can provide internships at many companies. The college can provide assistance in pursuing higher studies in different countries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in classrooms as well as hostels. But the food may not be as good as you think. Cots are provided in hostel rooms. Plates and glasses are also provided. We have good air conditioning facilities in our classrooms. The classrooms are clean and good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are professional. They can clear our doubts at any time. Our faculty are qualified from the AICTE. They are good for lab experiments. You think on your own and implement it as you like. The college manages all the costs of your project.
Other: In the present situation, chemical engineers are going to play a critical role for future generations.

Honestly, the college has very good environment, and students will love it.
Placements: The college provides good placement assistance. Many top IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., recruited many students this year. Cognizant selected 88 students from the batch passing out in 2022. Computer science engineering students have more opportunities in placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. All the departmental labs have good working equipment. Wi-Fi is available. The hostel has good greenery. The hostel has Wi-Fi facility and a playground for sports. The food is excellent. There are medical facilities for free.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, and they are helpful to students in all aspects. They are very serious and sincere when it comes to teaching. Each semester has two mid-exams and one-semester exam. You have to score 24 out of 60 marks in semester exams and at least 16 out of 40 marks in mid-exams to pass the subject.

Yes, students with minimum cutoff can get a seat at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE). However, the chances of selection will depend on various factors, including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and the availability of seats in different branches.

While the cut-off marks for admission to SVUCE are generally high, students with minimum cutoff can still increase their chances of selection by:

  • Preparing well for the entrance exam: Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, syllabus, and practice questions to improve your score.

  • Targeting less competitive branches: Consider applying for branches that have historically had lower cut-off marks.

  • Demonstrating a strong overall profile: Participate in extracurricular activities, volunteer, and gain relevant work experience to make your application more attractive.

  • Staying informed about the admission process: Keep track of the admission dates, eligibility criteria, and counseling procedures to ensure you meet all the requirements.

It is important to remember that selection to SVUCE is competitive, and there is no guarantee of admission even with a strong overall profile. However, by preparing well, considering less competitive branches, and following the admission process carefully, you can increase your chances of securing a seat at this prestigious institution.

Overall, SVUCE is a great choice for students seeking a high-quality engineering education with a strong focus on placements. The college's excellent placement record, industry-relevant curriculum, and strong alumni network make it a popular destination for top recruiters and a promising launchpad for successful careers in engineering.
