B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2018
1.2
1Placements1Infrastructure2Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
Most Pathetic College Ever ( NEVER TAKE ADMISSION).
Placements: No company visits the college. No opportunities of placements. Students are compelled to go to other placement drives happening nearby and that too at their own expenses. All shown placements are either Fake or are earned by students themselves off campus from their own hard work. 1 or 2 BPO/Call center come to college for placements, but they also don't hire after seeing the standard of the college.
Infrastructure: College itself is small and classrooms are old. No facilities for engineering students. Entire college has one projector which is used in turns by all departments. Small library with donated books which are very old editions or irrelevant. Labs are outdated and no apparatus is provided during practical session. Instead practical sessions are used by teachers (if anyone shows up) to pass comments and to crack jokes. Zero sports facilities. One ground is used for all sports and no material is provided from the sports department. Even though there is a big auditorium in the college campus, it is not for the students. The management gives it on rental to conduct ceremonies and parties of clients/companies to earn some extra $. .
Faculty: The worst part is the college management. They will smile and talk to you politely until you take admission. After that they don't listen and don't care about the problems faced by the students. They will charge students random fines and ask for more money every time. Security deposit is not refunded even after course completion. Eligible students are not granted scholarships which they were promised at the time of admissions. You can not approach anyone for any complaint as there is no student union. The college is run by father-son duo who have hired bodyguards and bouncers. Anyone who demands justice is beaten up by them and harassed. They challenge you to get your degree if you mess with them. Even college brochures and prospectus will show false pictures and facilities. Don't fall for them. Few good teachers also have to leave college because of unfair policies and harassment from the college management. College owners are known to have political relations and manipulates the local police and administration.
Other: Hostel and Mess is in very pathetic condition. The mess food is like hospital food. The warden charges unnecessary fines and a big amount for electricity charges. No breakdown/receipt is given for any fee submission. No canteen / stationary shop. Located between rural area and very far from main city. No private transportation is there to the college. College bus charges high amount to the students. No fest/event is conducted.
