Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed from the CSE department. The highest package offered in last year’s placement drive was approximately 24 LPA. The average package was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Wipro, Persistent, and a few startups. Internship opportunities are also good. About 80% of students get internships at companies like Tech Mahindra, and some students receive PPOs. Top roles offered include software developer, data engineer, backend developer, QA, and analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The campus has modern infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi across classrooms and labs, digital boards, and well-equipped computer and electronics labs. The library has a huge collection of books and digital resources. 24/7 study rooms are available. There is no on-campus hostel, but nearby PGs and rented flats are easy to find. The canteen is clean and serves decent food at affordable rates. Sports facilities are good, and there is access to first aid and ambulance services on campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified, approachable, and supportive. They help with projects, guide research, and are open to doubts and discussions. Being an autonomous institute, the curriculum is regularly updated with new electives in AI, ML, and emerging technologies, making it industry-relevant. The semester exams are mandatory, and the pass percentage is about 85 to 90%, so it is manageable if you study sincerely.

Honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements are almost good. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The highest package offered is 61 LPA. Last year, the highest package offered was 30 LPA. There is a low placement scope, but if we are good, then we are able to crack placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The college campus is small, as per the college students' expectations. For CSE and ENTC courses, there is a totally different building for studying, which is in red colour.
Faculty: Faculty members are good from a student's perspective. They are well-qualified. Faculty members available to teach students are very good and well-mannered. They use new ways of teaching. There are exams like ESE and MSE, and ESE is for 50 marks, and MSE is for 30 marks, which are in a theoretical form.

Placements: The highest salary package is 64 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and L&T hire students. About 70-80% of students got internship opportunities, particularly through TCognition and partnerships with tech academics. Common roles offered include software-related positions, machine learning, data analysis, project coordination, and QA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are good. The college has a strong Wi-Fi connection. Each department has separate labs. Classrooms are well-maintained with clean equipment and smart boards. The college does not have a hostel. The college supports both outdoor and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They have the best teaching quality. Staff members are very helpful. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant and updated with market requirements. Semester exams are moderate. 80-90% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose data science because it is a future-ready field with high career scope. I have a love for data and a strong interest in problem-solving. The field connects tech and logic and offers opportunities to work with AI. I wish there were more industry-level projects and updated course content. More tech events, better campus Wi-Fi, and stronger placement support would improve the overall experience.

I am so lucky that I got admission in DYPCET, Kolhapur.
Placements: Around 62% of students got placed every year in DYPCET Kolhapur. The highest package is 62 LPA, and the average package ranges from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and Hexaware are the top recruiting companies. Data scientist, data analyst, data engineer, machines learning engineer, and data architect are the roles offered in the data science course.
Infrastructure: DYPCET has the most beautiful infrastructure. There are separate classrooms for each branch. There are well-maintained labs for the practical. There are also many computer labs available. The library is so vast. You can find branch-wise books there, as well as other reading materials. Talking about hostel, there is no hostel of DYPCET, you have to stay in PGs, which are near the college. There is a canteen inside the college, which is the best part.
Faculty: All teachers have strict rules that they should complete their Ph.D. The teaching quality is average. DYPCET is an autonomous institute, and the syllabus is updated according to industry. The exams are medium level. There are 4 exams in one semester ISE 1, MSE, ISE 2, and ESE. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am so excited to learn data insights. Data Science is the new emerging branch that can give us new career opportunities. There are scholarships for merit students. There are so many events in our college, like Technostav, Capstone Project, etc.

Placements: The placement ratio in this college is decent. Placement is a mixed bag. Computer and IT students get better opportunities with companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and a few startups. Core branches have fewer companies visiting. The average package is around 3-4 LPA, while the highest can go up to 7 LPA for CS students. The Training and Placement Cell works hard, but students need to be proactive, especially for off-campus drives.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small but well-maintained. The campus is clean and moderately equipped. Wi-Fi-enabled campus (though not always high-speed), decent classrooms with projectors. Well-maintained labs for core branches, a central library with reference books and journals. Hostels available for both boys and girls (average facilities). A canteen serving basic food at affordable prices, and sports facilities (cricket ground, indoor games).
Faculty: Every teacher is helpful, and good quality knowledge is provided. Semester exams are not too hard to pass. You just need to score 50 out of 100 marks in the end-semester examination, and that's it. The curriculum changes as per modern technology, which is very good and important for the future.

Placements: In our college, there are 2 divisions in our department, with 150 students are there in each division. Talking about placements, the average package is 4-6 LPA, and the highest package is 25 LPA. Companies like Google, TCS, Hexaware, etc., visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: There is a well-stocked library in which 2000+ books are present, also the canteen of our college is most precious and clean. The well-set labs, a Wi-Fi system, and classrooms are present in the college. The only thing is the college has no hostel or mess facility.
Faculty: Well-educated faculty members are appointed for students. Also, the curriculum set by the college is easy. Two semester exams are conducted in one year. The difficulty level of the exams is also medium. The teaching quality of the faculty members are also nice. The well-set curriculum is given to students, which makes ready for industry.
