CEBS Mumbai Highlights 2025
University of Mumbai, Vidyanagari Campus, Department of Atomic Energy, and the Government of India joined hands and established UM DAE CBS in 2007 as an autonomous centre. Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai University offers scholarship to students via NEST or KVPY route. All students admitted to CEBS via NEST route are eligible for DST-INSPIRE or DAE DISHA Scholarship during the first year. Besides, there is also a proivision for merit-cum-means scholarship for eligible students.
CEBS students receives a scholarship of INR 5,000 per month and a summer internship grant of INR 20,000 per year. Students admitted through NEST route, those who are eligible for KVPY Scholarships, can avail the same, but not along with DST-INSPIRE or DAE-DISHA scholarships. Besides, all students are entitled to receive a book grant of INR 6,000 per academic year.
