Christ University does not offer any type of reservation for the students who will take admission in any of their undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Admission to Christ University is based on the CUET (Christ University Entrance Test) conducted by Christ Deemed-to-Be University, Department of Media Studies, and there are some selection rounds, such as skill assessments, micro presentations, personal interviews, and group discussions, conducted for admission.

Courses offered by Christ University Department of Media Studies are M.A. In Media and Communication Studies, B.A. (Communication and Media, English Psychology), M.A. In English with Communication Studies, B.A. (Hons. ). In Journalism, B.A. (Journalism, Psychology, English B.A. (Media Studies, Economics, Political Science), Ph.D. in Media Studies, M.Phil. In Media Studies, B.A. (Communication and Media, English Psychology), and B.A. (Media, Public Affairs). .

Christ University Entrance Test CUET.The entrance exam for Christ University includes an online exam, skill assessment test, micro presentation, and personal interview. The Christ University Exam Pattern varies for each course. The sections in the exam also vary, but some of the common subjects for all courses are English and General Knowledge.Undergraduate with 50% in all the subjects including languages .

While Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce and Sciences may cost between USD 2000/- to USD 4000/-, Law, Engineering and Architecture can come with a spend for fees between USD 4000/- to USD 5500/-

Management Courses are offered anywhere between USD 4500/- to USD 7500/- as well.

The institute offers great options for PhD with competitive fees structures starting from USD 450/-

Department of Media Studies, Christ University offers UG, PG and PhD level programmes. The programmes include, BA, MA and PhD programmes. The department offers a total of 5 courses, with UG programme having three specialisations.
