Decent package and good course structure in 2024. Christ is the place to be.
Placements: Our placements are still ongoing while I am writing this review. The companies that've come for placements so far include Bosch, Mavericks, Joyride, Tata, etc. All the companies have had pre-placement talks and also given us detailed information on the job description and what their expectations are from us. The maximum package that we've received so far is 10 LPA, with the lowest being 3.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are 2 labs for the media department (1 for UG and 1 for PG). Both labs have the latest equipment and have soundproof walls to record or shoot your assignments. There are a lot of food options when it comes to the canteen. We have around 20–30 eateries on campus, ranging from lunch to snack options or even tea. The only problems are with sports grounds; you can't use them without permission. Also you cannot use it during class hours and you cannot use it after classes as University teams will take over for practice. Basically, the grounds are just there for the university, not for you.
Faculty: The exams are mostly submission-based, which keeps your creativity flowing and your brains running as you don't have to learn anything but apply whatever you know and have learned in class to the assignments. Most professors, although experienced, have a journalism background, which might not be ideal when you have a specialisation course like advertising or corporate communication, yet the course plan is set in such a way that you'll have a lot of self-learning happening for this course.

Good college for M.A. in design.
Placements: Christ College provides good opportunities for on-campus placement in the department of design. Many design companies visit colleges for campus hiring. TCS and HCL are the top recruiters at the college. Amazon offers the highest package at INR 26 LPA.
Infrastructure: Christ College has good infrastructure, hostels are well managed and mess food is average but affordable. Wi-Fi connections are only available in classrooms and labs, not in the entire college. The canteen provides various food items at a very cheap cost.
Faculty: Christ College has a well-defined course curriculum that is up-to-date for current industrial needs. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Semester exams are not very tough if you just go through the notes and books provided by the teacher.

Christ University has everything that a student should be offered to learn and grow in and out.
Placements: 98% of my batchmates got placed. The highest package offered was 9L-13Lpa, the lowest would be 3Lpa and the average being 5-6Lpa. Cisco, IBM, SAP, are the top recruiters. 100% of students got internships across various media domains. Top Roles offered is for Corporate communications.
Infrastructure: The college has a good Wi-Fi connection, classrooms are neat and tidy. The library is literally like heaven. College hostel is very neat and clean, there are canteens in every block, sports and games are also there. Christ University has one of the best college campuses in Bangalore. It is a zero-waste campus.
Faculty: Teachers were super knowledgeable and friendly. Teachers are brilliant and are very helpful. They are experienced and give us good moral support. The course curriculum is relevant, gives us more practical knowledge about the industry. Our exposure here was top notch.
Other: University culture is the best. Everything here is very organized. College fests are loved by everyone in the campus.

I am fully satisfied with the course offered here.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Vedanta and Viacom were the top recruiters for our course. Almost 100% of the students got internships. PR executive was the top role offered here. Viacom also hired students for camera roles.
Infrastructure: Our college had a Wi-Fi facility, media lab, which is highly sophisticated with soundproof rooms and the other basic studio, recording studio, library, computer labs, hospital, etc. Our college also has a basketball court and cricket stadium. There are 13 canteens with food items from all over the world. The quality of the food served is also top. There are 2 medical clinics, a prayer room, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here were qualified to teach the course. Their teaching quality was also top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Teachers use various platforms and software to teach students, which make it really worth the time.

The teachers are knowledgeable and bring in good guest faculty.
Placements: The placements usually take place in the month of January. For our seniors, placements went quite well as many of them got placed in good companies. Be it PR, events, newspaper or advertising, most of them got in. I cannot say about the salary, though. When we speak to our seniors, most of them seem very satisfied with their jobs and seem to be enjoying it.
Infrastructure: If you care about the infrastructure more than the faculty members, then this the place for you. Amongst all the colleges in Bangalore, Christ has the best infrastructure no matter what branch you are in. We have access to all kinds of equipment required by media students. The labs are up to date in terms of acoustics and all. The food in the canteen is bearable and eatable. Shiv Sagar and Mingos are the best here.
Faculty: The lady teachers are quite knowledgeable and lovely in the way they teach Male teachers are also knowledgeable but they lack the teaching skills Otherwise, all the teachers are helpful and try and solve your problems We also get to intern in various fields of media within 2 years.

Satisfied but too scared of detention.
Placements: Most of them were placed with a range of average and good salaries. IBM selected a lot of students but it is not exciting being a technical content writer for a company. People chose it for the pay. Most students are into public relation, corporate communications, event management and client servicing. I doubt anybody has taken up hardcore political or social journalism. Internships are for the students to search for themselves
Infrastructure: We have two main labs. Media lab- Newly installed Apple systems. Centre of Communication Development - We hardly use it but it is brilliant for shooting videos. Sports - 3 basketball courts are there and the gym is below average. Classrooms do not have AC and the audi block students cannot use the lift.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good. There are always exceptions and some are strict. They are knowledgeable but sometimes pressurized to give too many assignments. Some of the assignments do not make sense and there are too many detention hours for skipping classes. Naresh Rao is the best professor ever. He has taught some of the most brilliant people in the media industry. Suparna Ma'am is the second best. She will make sure you do your work and does not over pressurize any student. The main coordinators are stricter than the rest.
Other: The dress code is Indian and they are very strict in terms of what you wear. You cannot wear leggings. Mostly, students wear it irrespective but it is not allowed. Sometimes, guards will take away your ID card for the most absurd reasons. The logic stays in another periphery. ID card is a must. You cannot be seen without it. Attendance requirements are 85%. If you have been called by another professor, you won't be given the attendance. You have to be in the class to get the attendance at any cost. Everything is too serious.
