IIT Madras MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in CAT, conducted by IIMs. Students seeking admission can apply online by visiting the official website of CAT. The final admission is granted based on CAT score, past academic record, work experience, performance in PI round, academic diversity, gender diversity and other achievements (if any). Apart from all these, for IIT Madras MBA admission, candidates also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement. 

IIT Madras admissions are entrance exam based. Candidates need to clear the National-level entrance exams for admissions to various courses. For MBA admissions, candidates should have a valid CAT score to appear for CAT Counselling. Based on IIT Madras cut off for MBA, candidates can get admission as per their corresponding rank. The applications are available online only from the day after the CAT results are out. CAT exam 2023 result has been released in the last week of December 2023. Following the same, MBA applications have been started on the official website of DoMS IIT Madras and the last date to apply for the same is Jan 31.. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria with a valid CAT score can apply online. 

For MBA admission, candidates who have applied are further shortlisted based on the composite score (calculated using CAT score, past academic performance, experience, gender and diversity) for a Virtual Interview. IIT Madras MBA fee ranges between INR 1.3 lakh and INR 1.7 lakh. The fee structure may vary for both Day Scholars and Hostellers. The regular day scholars have to particularly pay for Tuition Fees, Establishment Charges and for Extra-curricular activities.
