Placements: I am a student of the batch 2023-27, pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology. Almost 90% of students are placed if they are from the Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology departments. Students from other branches like Mechanical and Civil Engineering have a lower number of placements, and their placement packages are very low, with most of them not being placed.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. There is a separate building for 1st-year students, and each department has its own building. The campus is well-planned and has sports facilities. Students can play football, basketball, and volleyball, and other martial arts are also practiced at this college. The campus also includes medical facilities as well as a canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. Not all, but some teachers are really good in their profession. Teachers like Momita Pradhan and Prabal Sahu are great assets for the students of this college. The course provides adequate opportunities for personal growth, but we need additional certification courses to prepare for the industry.

The truth of bcrec college given by a b.tech student

Placements: We have a batch of 64 student in information technology department. The highest package was 10 lakh but it was an off campus placement. Our seniors grabbed maximum of 9 lakh package. The role was of software engineer. Around all the student who has good percentage of attendance get internship in the starting of 4th year. There is no scope of internship for1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Only one canteen is present in entire campus which is opened only at time of college classes. The food quality is acceptable. The sports facility of the campus is admirable. The grounds are maintained regularly for cricket and football. Basketball and volleyball court is also present. The college has an emergency van and medical room but the doctor is only available in college time.

Faculty: The faculty are well qualified. The teachers are helpful. There are many teachers in our campus who are husband and wife. Most of the teachers are local, so students often speaking regional language gain sympathy in teacher's mind. The course is relevant as it gives us stage to perform and scale our communication. The semester exam are very difficult. The question is set by makaut and are very tough.

Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed who genuinely work on themselves and improve their communication skill. The highest package in the college was grabbed by our senior of Information Technology department that was 11 LPA and it was off campus placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is adorable and it has good sports facility which includes separate grounds for various sports like basketball, football, cricket. Most of the training session of these sports start when there is any event otherwise it remains inactive.

Faculty: The exams and copy checking system all are managed by makaut which is advantageous because students who really work hard get good CGPA and get extra benefits in placement. Many students get backlog and after paying 200 rupees for review form, many student clear their backlog.

The college is not good, the placement provided is low, and the quality of the food is horrible.

Placements: Almost 45% of students are placed in our IT course. The highest package offered is Rs. 700,000 per annum and the lowest package offered is Rs. 250,000 per annum. The average is around Rs. 500,000. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and Tech Mahindra.

Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are dirty; regular cleaning is not done. The Wi-Fi facility is there but most of the time the service goes down. The quality of the facilities at the hostel is very poor. The quality of the food provided looks hygienic, and medical facilities are provided in case of any emergency. In sports and games, the facility provided is average. I expected more from college than from the present situation.

Faculty: Yes, some teachers are helpful in teaching. The notes they provide are beneficial for the exams. Most of the teachers in this college are substandard and not qualified. The semester exams at the college are difficult. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course, B.Tech IT, because I have an interest in the information technology field.

Dr B. C Roy Engineering College is a good college .

Placements: 60% of students were placed this year, and the highest package is 18 LPA from off-campus and 14 LPA from on-campus. Many companies visit our college; recently, Airtel visited, and many students were placed. There is a special building for placements.

Infrastructure: There is 24/7 Wi-Fi available, smart labs as well as classrooms, and a big library from which we can get books. In the hostel, awesome food is provided, and there is a routine we follow. There is a special canteen for outside students and a common room for games and meetings.

Faculty: There are well-trained teachers and professors. They teach very well and are highly educated. Yes, it makes students industry-ready, and you can get internships. It has a medium level of exams; if a student does not learn anything for the exam, then it will be hard for them.

Other: I like the IT sector course, as I can become a web developer or software developer. It needs improvement in computer software, as the software is getting old. It also has many events and competitions.
