I am satisfied because of the overall quality of the college.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Tata Motors, TCS, Bosch, etc., visit our campus. Almost 67% of students get internships at Wipro, TCS, Bosch, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available for students. There is a good Wi-Fi connection on campus and excellent laboratories. Many e-classrooms are available. One central library and a college library are at the center of the college.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and have a vast knowledge of the subject. Every department has excellent teachers. Our department has one of the best faculty members. The course is relevant and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a mechanical engineer. I always wanted to learn about machines and the physics of our world, and in that sense, this is the best course you can imagine.

Review of Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College.
Placements: Around 10-15% of students got placed in companies like TCS, etc. The highest package offered was 10 LPA - 11 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Internships are average.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms and a huge library with many books. Hostel facilities are good and have well-maintained rooms with a good mess and canteen. We can play cricket, football, basketball, and tennis. The campus also has a temple.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful to students and resolve their problems. Semester exams are moderate. If you study well, you can score well easily. This course easily makes the students industry-ready, and the course provides good knowledge of English and literature, and it makes you ready for interviews.
Other: The college hosts events every year, like a tech fest, cultural fest, several workshops, and sports day. We celebrate many festivals. Overall, it is a very good experience.

Take mechanical only if you are interested and want to learn new things. College can only provide you good faculty and infrastructure. Rest is your passion to learn.

Not too good or not too bad. It isn't up to the mark. Placement cell needs to work more. Recently, placement of this college is below average. The recent batch of 2017 had 22% placement with an average of 3 LPA. The internship is more or less zero for this department. So, I won't advise you to join
