It is divided into six semesters. The Dr Shyama Prasad Mukjerjee University median package offered in 2023 is not yet released in official website but the average package was 2LPA and the highest package was upto Rs 5 Lakh per annum. The companies visitng the campus were TCS, Capgemini, Cognizent, Concentrix, Accenture, HCL, TCS etc. Almost 30% was the total placement percentage. Students should have to do hard work to get placed in well reputed company. 

The university's policy concerning refunds includes:

• Fee once paid will not be refunded unless there was any excess payment for any reason whatsoever.
• Once the application fee is paid, no refund can be claimed.
