Exploring the placements and academic excellence of a top-tier college.
Placements: Our college guarantees 70% placement. The highest package went for INR 36 LPA, and the lowest was INR 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Amazon, Adani, Wipro, and DXC. My course is electronics and telecommunications, and in my course, everyone got an internship at good companies. The top roles offered in our course were data scientist, big data engineer, and project manager.
Infrastructure: In our college, the facilities provided are above average but not excellent. The quality of facilities provided in our hostel is quite good, and the quality of food provided in the mess is okay. There is a library that includes all the study materials for your course.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is really good at this college and very helpful. They will provide you with everything necessary, like notes to prepare for exams. The new courses available in our college, like data science, IoT, and AI, are really up-to-date and make the students industry-ready. The exams in our college are not at all tough and can easily be aced with the notes provided by the professors. The pass percentage depends on your CAE, TAE, and ESE marks.
Other: I chose this course in electronics and telecommunications because it includes both hardware and software and gives the best of both worlds. I guess changing the curriculum can improve our course, as it has gotten outdated. Our college is good with activities, which include extracurriculars and other things like fests, celebrity nights, dances, etc. The campus crowd is very free and energetic.

Review of G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good, with an average salary package of 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, DXC Technology, etc. All the students are expected to go for 6-month industry internships as per college guidelines.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Hostel facility is very good. Mess and canteen serve fresh food. Many sports events organised throughout the year are enjoyable and fun to be part of.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are great, helpful, and knowledgeable. They teach students very well and clear their doubts if needed. I'm impressed with their teaching. They provide a supportive learning environment.
Other: Our college organises events like traditional days, flash mobs, and various cultural events every year. Students got a chance to watch live performances of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi a few months ago.

It has supportive faculty, decent placements, and an active campus life.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students get placed in the course. The highest package ranges from 7-10 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 1.5-2 LPA. Major IT services companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture hire students from the college. Around 50-60% students secure internships through campus or connections. Roles like software engineers or developers are offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with projectors. It has well-maintained computer labs and departmental labs. It does not have Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostel rooms are decent with basic furniture and regular maintenance. In the centeen, food quality is average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified. They are approachable and willing to help students outside of class hours. The course curriculum is mostly up-to-date and aligned with university guidelines. Exams are moderately difficult. Regular study and class participations are usually enough.
Other: I chose this course because it matches my career interests. The course curriculum could include more hands-on training. Everything is moderate here.

Our college had a good infrastructure and I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in multinational companies. Companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL, Infosys, Infocept, LTI, and L&T visit our campus every year for hiring students. Teachers were very helpful. They taught us everything about interviews and technical rounds before placements.
Infrastructure: There was a hostel behind the college. It provided very tasty food for hostel students. Medical facilities were available for students staying in hostels. Our college had a big library where all types of books were available. Our college provided us with Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and were always available to help us. They were friendly, teach well, and conducted doubt sessions also. They arrange for industry visits every month so that students can learn more. Exams were quite hard but if you study well, you will be able to pass the examination easily.

I suggest students choose the course based on their percentage. The faculty members are good.
Placements: Placements for my batch are not that satisfying because most of the students in my course are placed in non-technical roles. Very few students got offer letters for technical roles. Core companies for our course do not visit our campus. Most of the students who got placed in technical roles are either placed at Capgemini, Cognizant, or Infosys with a package that ranges from 3.5-5.5 LPA. We have a compulsory internship program for 6 months, so all students have to do internships in the core or IT domain.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for our department are good. Most of the instruments required for practical study of the course are available but some of the instruments are not in working condition. Classrooms and labs are available for all courses. There is a separate library for departments only which has department-specific books. The hostel is good and all facilities are available including medical, sports and games. The food in the mess is not good, and that's the only reason most of the students leave the hostel after the first year.
Faculty: Teachers in my department throughout my 4 years of course have been very helpful. They are supportive of new ideas and they are also knowledgeable of all subjects. Except for some teachers, all others are very specific and strict regarding studies and submissions. Our department teachers are experienced and qualified, so their teaching quality is very good.
Other: I chose this course because till 2021 placements in this course were very good in our college but not now. The best thing about my course is that our teachers are very supportive and also qualified. I wish the college would focus on bringing more companies to our course. The college organises lots of technical and cultural events which are organised at a very large scale.
