Our college offers a promising environment for B.E. students.
Placements: 90% of students get placed in the CSE course. Top recruiting companies include Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. 75% of students secure internships at companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and various startups in the tech sector. Top roles offered in Software Development Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Cloud Engineer, and Cybersecurity Analyst.
Infrastructure: Our CSE department offers decent infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi-enabled smart classrooms, updated computer labs, and access to digital resources through the library. The specialization labs for IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain provide a good hands-on learning environment, though more advanced equipment would be beneficial. Hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms and basic amenities. Mess food is satisfactory, offering a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The canteen provides quick snacks. Medical facilities and a 24/7 health center ensure student safety. Sports grounds and indoor game facilities encourage fitness, but adding more recreational space would improve the overall hostel experience.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and knowledgeable, particularly in explaining complex concepts. The teaching quality is good, but some lectures could incorporate more interactive elements. The course curriculum is highly relevant and aligns well with industry demands, especially in preparing students for practical applications in the field. The semester exams are challenging but fair, reflecting the course material. The pass percentage seems reasonable, indicating a good balance between difficulty and student preparedness.
Other: I am part of the 2027 graduating batch of B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. I chose this course because of my interest in cutting-edge technologies and their applications in securing the digital world. The best part of this course is the hands-on learning and exposure to real-world problems. I wish the curriculum included more industry-level projects and updated lab facilities. Our campus hosts vibrant fests, hackathons, and technical events with an enthusiastic crowd. Good connectivity, scholarships, and extracurricular activities make campus life engaging, though I would love to see more green surroundings.
