Earlier, the college reputation was good but now, it is losing it.
Placements: In our college, specifically in my branch, the placement rate is not good. Earlier college placements were good, but nowadays, Galgotia is losing its reputation. It does not have good placements as earlier. The average salary package offered on-campus is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered on-campus is around 13 LPA - 14 LPA. Wipro and Infosys visit the college. Around 20-30% of students got placed. The salary package offered off-campus is 40 LPA. Around 2-3 students got internships. Internships are not provided by the college. You have to do all things on your own.
Infrastructure: The college hostel has one boys and one girls' building. There are very less rooms. 1/4 of college students can't get a campus hostel. If you want to get a hostel, you should go first. Facilities are okay. The food is good in the hostel. Rooms are ordinary. 24/7 warden is available for any emergency, help, or complaint. The hostel does not have a library, but we can go to the college library. A canteen is there. There is no canteen in the hostel. It closes in the night. The hostel has ending machines.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly except for some. They help students and clear our doubts if we ask them. Teachers are qualified and PhD holders. According to me, The AKTU curriculum is not good. It teaches us the boarding syllabus of the old year. They taught in earlier years. You have to learn technical skills on your own. We have to not depend on the college. Exams are hill. You can get good marks by just studying 1,2, and 3 days before. The passing criteria is 33% marks.

Placements: So, in my college, companies hire, but the average salary package is also pretty much decent, around 5.5 - 6 LPA. Being honest, most of the companies mostly hire in bulk at 3-4 LPA, and a few companies offer dream packages which are more than 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: As I am in Galgotias College, the infrastructure is okay. You will not see higher buildings on the campus, but that is okay. Talking about hostel mess, the food is less than average. The canteen facilities are very good, and there is Wi-Fi in the library, which you will not get in the campus.
Faculty: As far as I know, the teachers are good and have a very good knowledge of the subject. The course is not relevant to the corporate sector, so it is of no use. I am in the 1st year of my college and studying Maths, Chemistry, and Mechanics, which will not be used when I become a software developer.
Other: Yes, I enjoy events. Last week, we had freshers, and I enjoyed it very much. Our seniors are very supportive.

Review of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology .
Placements: According to my opinion, Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology is good. The highest package offered was 32 LPA and the average salary package offered was 7-8 LPA. Top companies visit our college every year, hire students, and take them to their companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite decent. The area is around 19-20 acres. Labs are conducted every week and the lab has quite a decent facility. The library has more than 70,000 books. Hostel facilities are good the rooms are big and spacious. The mess and cafeteria are also nice.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and have deep knowledge in their respective domain subjects. The faculty and technicians explain well. In case of doubt, the support system is quite responsive. Regular sessional exams are conducted so that students benefit from the AKTU exam. The college follows the AKTU curriculum.

College is decent, and if students study, they can get a good placement.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. In each branch, almost all students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top companies like Google and Microsoft also visit for placement. College provides a good number of internships to students.
Infrastructure: College has less number of seats in the hostels, but the hostel infrastructure is good. College infrastructure is decent, but they don't have Wi-Fi. Food in the hostel is normal hostel-type food, but they have a canteen on campus, which is a good part. The college campus also has a lot of sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and all are PhD holders, so they have a lot of knowledge. Some faculty members have very good teaching skills. College actively provides practical knowledge as well. Exams are conducted every month for practice, and almost all students pass them.
Other: College events are very famous. Clubs are very active.

Not so satisfied but I think this college has a good future.
Placements: 1.50 percent students are getting placed till now.
The highest package is 19 lakhs and the lowest is 3 lacs per annum.
Top recruiting companies are TCS and Accenture.
I think 30-40 percent got internships from computer science and design; I would say placement is good.
Infrastructure: 1. WiFi is very bad, absolutely pathetic; there is no internet in the classes.
2. Classrooms are pretty good—I mean, good ventilation and benches.
Labs are good enough to do practicals and if I were to say about sports, I would say it was one of the best experiences I have had.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and as a first-year student, I would say teachers are well qualified and have PhDs from IITs.
As of today, I think the curriculum is not relevant but I think after 1st year this will become more relevant and promising.
Other: I chose this course because it's the best I can get.

Perks of Galgotias College GCET.
Placements: This college has good placements. The college provides placement opportunities to students. There is also a CPDD placement department that helps with placements. The average package is 5 to 6 lac per annum. Students can grab more according to their skills and talents.
Infrastructure: The hostel at Galgotias College is not very good. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls. The food provided by Sodexo is average. The rooms are either air-conditioned or non-air-conditioned, and each room has a vending machine and sports equipment.
Faculty: The faculty at Galgotias University are very good and highly qualified. They are always ready to help us out in any situation, and will also guide us in placements and company preparation. It is up to the student to take advantage of their knowledge and guidance.

CSD Galgotias college of engineering and technology.
Placements: First demerit GU and GCET students participate in placement together, so roughly we can say around 5 thousand CS and Allied Branches students compete in placements that are mostly dominated by mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Out of 5 thousand, only 8–10 students get placement above 20 LPA. The placement cell exists, but it is not as active as it should be. So if you work very hard and maintain your CGPA, you may land a placement of around 8–10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Sports facilities are almost negligible, with a basketball and tennis court in dying condition. Despite the heavy charges, all of the blocks are not air conditioned. There is a very small central library, the labs are mediocre with basic requirements, and there is only one playground that is not utilised. The canteen area is very small and crowded. Badminton court is present inside the hostel and only accessible via hostelers.
Faculty: The curriculum is not at all up to date with current industry standards, and faculty often make your life miserable by making some school-like rules. 75 percent attendance criteria is pushed more than any skill development opportunity; if you fail to get 5 percent attendance, a letter is dispatched to your home. The marking system is very weird as compared to other universities. Although teachers are very qualified, the school-like attitude towards students makes it painful to attend 8 lectures in a day.

Placements: Very good placement record in the past few years, with almost above 90 percent placement rate, but only in CS and Allied branches; average placement is easily 4-6 LPA.; reputed companies like Amazon, Adobe, and Autodesk also came with offers last year. The highest placement was 39 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty cool almost all the facilities that you would like to have in an educational institute are available, including well-equipped labs, an air-conditioned library and a well-maintained digital library. few academic blocks are also air-conditioned.
Faculty: The curriculum is pretty old, and the copy-checking is very strict at AKTU, so yes, it is very challenging to score marks here. The environment created by the faculty is very school-like, which is like a hindrance to the skill development and exploration of other fields.
