It should focus on providing a balanced perspective.
Placements: Placement process at GIET is generally considered good. In the past year, around 70-80% of students got placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package ranges from 5–6 LPA. The placement cell is active in organising training sessions and mock interviews.
Infrastructure: Hostel is absolutely superb. Facilities are cleaned daily. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. There are large lockers for big backpacks. It has free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers connected to the internet and a large screen TV (which is the most popular thing in the evening).
Faculty: Our commitment to continuous improvement is admirable. However, setting specific professional development goals to enhance our teaching practices is beneficial. The administration must find a format that fits their leadership and communication style and the culture of the department or school. Staff members are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge, and go the extra mile.

GIET is made to enhance your career.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed in good companies. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Luminous, etc. Every student got an internship in companies like Amazon and Web bucket. The highest package offered by the company was 9 LPA, and the average package was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels and food provided by the college were very good. Medical facilities were available. We had a big playground for playing different outdoor games like cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, tennis, basketball, etc. Big functions were held every year.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was excellent. The course curriculum was relevant and made the students ready for industry. Semester exams were very tough, and the pass percentage was 33%. College prepared top questions for students.

| UG Diploma | Candidate who have passed 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha can also apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of engineering and technology with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have completed bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category. |
