As per my side, it is a good university where education is given first priority.

Placements: This is a good university with good students, and everyone clears exams. Around 5 to 6 companies have placements in our college, with an average package of 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Infosys, with many other big companies, come to our college for placements.

Infrastructure: In our college, everything is there, including smart classrooms and a library with Wi-Fi. Hostels are good, and the campus and classrooms are very clean. Students come to college on time, and there are 6 hours of education. Theory and practical classes are done.

Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are very friendly and educated. Exams are not so easy and not so hard. It is in moderate type. The pass percentage is 100%. It is a good college where students secure high marks and get a job instantly after completing the course.

Other: I decided to get a job in the IT sector, and Utkal University is the best option, so I chose it.

Good faculty members, good hostel and infrastructure, and the worst communication and placement.

Placements: There's no campus placement here. 30% of students cracked NET, so they got jobs as assistant professors. And others got job recommendations from alumni or tried off campus. One startup company came last year and offered a 6-month internship with a job offer, but HOD didn't allow internships during the course period.

Infrastructure: WiFi, labs, and classrooms are top-notch. Hostel facilities are the best. The quality of food is good as per the price. There's a dispensary for students on the university campus. Sports competitions like UPL and football get held every year. And there're two grounds; they're huge.

Faculty: Faculty is the best, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is best. The course is not industry-oriented, but if you're preparing for NET or GATE, it's best for you. But you will get the best education on every subject from the best faculty members.

Other: I scored rank 10 in CPET, and as Utkal University is one of the largest and oldest universities in Odisha. I had to choose this university for better education and campus life.

My review on IMCA department, Utkala university.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in my course. The average salary package offered in our course is LPA 4 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for your course Wipro, TCS, etc. Almost 90% of students got internships from our course in well-known companies.

Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library and all other facilities in our department. All are in very good condition. In hostel the quality food is served in the mess and canteen. We also have medical facilities and sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult. Semester exams are held in this college. The pass percentage is 90-95%.

Everything in our college is good.

Placements: There are very few opportunities for campus placements. The packages offered are from 2.4 to 3.6 LPA. Only 30% of students were placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Black Knight, Cognizant, etc., came here. 60% of students got internships from our course in companies like Nalco, TCS etc.

Infrastructure: All the hostels inside the university are awesome. The infrastructure is well-maintained. All the facilities are available inside the campus. Food quality is not good enough. Medical facilities are good. Two medical officers are also present.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our university have good knowledge about their subjects. Some of them are GATE and NEET qualified. All the faculty members are friendly. They clear all the doubts of students. Practical knowledge provided is also good.

Other: I think this course is the way to get a corporate job.

I am dissatisfied because of the college management.

Placements: Our college before one month announced that companies visit for placements so that students can focus on an interview at that time. The package offered was 2.5 LPA. My first company was Wipro, and I was started my career as a customer support executive for a technical issue.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent. Not faced any infrastructure-related issues, and there is a good quality of food. There are no medical facilities available in our college, and hostel rooms are quite good. There are not good lab and library facilities in our college. There are no sports facilities in the college.

Faculty: Teaching quality of teachers was below average. Teachers used classroom methods for teaching. Even teachers are helpful, but they were on a contract basis at that time. For 2-3 subjects there was one single teacher available. The student-faculty ratio was 30:1. Approximately course curriculum was not up to date.
