A big no to GITAM. Please don't take admission here.
Placements: Only 21 students got placed in Tech Mahindra and the remaining were placed in BPOs. I would rate the placements 1/5. Almost nil placements. No outlook towards industrial knowledge. The maximum package offered is 3 LPA. No core companies visit the campus but they show they advertise that 100% students are placed.
Infrastructure: In ECE labs, we had 4 kits for 55 students. We had to wait for our turn to use the kit. Out of 4, only 2 are in a working condition. The faculty members do not have knowledge about the subjects. There is no proper equipment in the labs. No availability of projectors.
Faculty: The faculty members just read textbooks in the class and give Xerox of the notes before the exams. They suggest the students to mug up the answers which is really pathetic They dictate the whole textbook in class. The schedule doesn't have timings for sports and other activities. The classes take place from 8:30 to 5.

I suggest this is very good college.
Placements: Placements are good. The reputed companies come to gitam for recruitment. Placements are increasing year by year with new companies. The highest salary is about 15lakh and avg about 5 lakh and the minimum is 3.5lakh. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Google, etc came for placement. Nearly 80% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Labs, classrooms, library, medical college for a health issue, sports facility available. The 1st year class will be usual but from 2nd year they will be everything by explaining. Food is almost good for 1st years students when compared to seniors. Wi-Fi access, hostel will be maintained properly.
Faculty: Faculty will be very good. If anyone got any doubt they will explain at any time. We think the faculty has the best role in getting placed. Student-teacher ratio will be 20:1. the industry tour will be taken. Mostly for mechanical students. The college is having a very good name in Andhra Pradesh.
Other: Technical and non technical events will be there. 1 fest per an month.
