It is the worst engineering college.

Placements: Honestly, the placements for my batch and our senior batch weren't good and didn't match our knowledge and expectations. Many of my seniors who were best in their academics remained unplaced, and because of that, we had to face a lot of difficulties. We went for some pool campus drives conducted in other colleges, where most of the students got rejected, and even if the students get selected, they never get joining letters. The companies offered technical support and some KPO and BPO roles. Internships were not provided in the college, it is totally a myth. Many students from different branches got non-technical jobs, even I was selected for technical support, but that spoiled my career. Due to that placement, I am facing many problems to get another job according to my knowledge and qualification. The college has a placement cell.

Infrastructure: No good facility is available. Classes are conducted combinedly for the students of different branches. Labs don't have instruments and machines. Students might not get all the required books in the library. Medical facilities are not available. A fest is conducted, every year, by the 3rd year students with their own money, and the college doesn't give money for that, in fact, they save money from the contribution of students. Birds fly in the classrooms, and the benches and desks are spoiled. There is not even a good canteen for the students to have good breakfast and meals. We always chose to go outside for breakfast and lunch. There is no on-campus hostel. The college provides some buildings on rent located around 15 km away from the college. But, the rooms are not clean, and the food available is not good. The college doesn't have any playground. There is not even a well-designed building without boundary.

Faculty: In the 1st semester of our batch, there were few good faculty members, but they left the college within a few months. The remaining faculty were not much good. They were not qualified or knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very poor. The student to faculty ratio was bad. Many branches don't have HODs. No industry exposure is provided. Joining this college is a waste of money and time.

Other: A fest is organised by the 3rd year students, is funded by themselves. Only a few students of GIFT college participate in the fest. The college doesn't provide anything for the development of students. No scholarship is provided to the students.
