It is a good college, and it shaped my career graph.
Placements: I am currently placed in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Placements were good for our batch. Several top-notch companies visit the campus for placements. However, most of the companies were from the IT industry and there were only a few core companies. Overall it was decent for our batch.
Infrastructure: I was a local student and hence don't have an idea about hostels. Other facilities were adequate and plenty. The college had strong Wi-Fi and canteen food served was average. Labs and classrooms were well-equipped with modern state of art facilities. The library was spacious.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were excellent. HOD, professors, assistant professors, and guest lecturers were all helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready and it is not just theoretical, but also keeps in mind the practical approach of the solution.
Other: I opted for this course because I always had an interest in the electronics domain of engineering.

In my view oec is the best college in our state and I am proud to be an oecian.
Placements: The best part of our college is placements because our college gives almost 90% placement every year and the package is also very good and big companies like tcs, mindtree recruit students in large numbers and almost 80 percent student got internship from college and also our college have a separate placement cell.
Infrastructure: Our college oec is also very good in infrastructure and oec is one of the best college because of our college infrastructure oec lawn oec canteen college building lab everything fully furnished and amazing to watch. And oec auditorium is the biggest auditorium in Odisha.
Faculty: Our college faculty members is also very good. They guide us well and they help us in any sort of problem. They are highly qualified and also their teaching quality is also very good and also the course curriculum is very good in our college. We get industry exposure.
Other: Our college fest is one of my favorite things in my college days because we enjoyed a lot in fest. Our campus surroundings is also very good. And college also gives good scholarship to students always.

The college is very good, and the place is peaceful.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Mindtree and many more visit the campus to hire the students. The placement cell got some trained faculty members. They are always there to help the students. The classrooms are very good. On every Saturday and Sunday, there are weekend classes.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a very peaceful place in Nabjyoti, Bihar. All types of facilities are available in the college. Oriental Bank of Commerce is located in the college. Labs in the college are excellent. The Wi-Fi facility is also very good. Here, medical facilities are provided by Rajlaxmi Memorial Health Care. There is a library in the college where we can find all types of books.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained. All the departments got some well-educated and well-trained faculty members. They are very friendly and help their students at their level best. Lab assistants help the students in their perspective labs.

It is not the best, but it is better than rest of the colleges.
Placements: The placements in this college are average. You have to score high or have many skills to get selected. Otherwise, it is very difficult for average students to get selected. Technically you have to be dependent on off-campus placements only. Otherwise, you have no option if you don't have the skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus, and all classrooms have cameras so that the superior of the branch can see whether the teachers are working or not. Library facility is available. Boys hostel is on the college campus only. Hostel rooms are very accommodating and good, but the quality of food is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful, but they can't explain themselves. The level of teaching is very low, and their communication is also bad. One has to study by themselves and should not be dependent on anyone. Faculty to student ratio is also not good.

Average Engineering college but best in Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Average placement but was not good last year. Last year our college faced a crisis on campus recruitment. Our branch is much superior and nice branch as we have options in both core and software too. On average our college placement goes roughly through a percentage of 70-80% selection of students.
Infrastructure: As college is pretty much distant from the city (Bhubaneswar) but the location want so bad as it gives a pleasure and studious temptation to students. For first year students there is hostel provided inside the campus after that you can decide whether to stay in a hostel or not. Buildings and architecture is old styled but it is really so big and largely diverse, its nearly covering 77 acres of land to stay on.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is just normol but the effort and coordination of our branch teachers is awesome and are so cool that it give us more interest to talk to them and get interest in the subject. As our course curriculum is new we don't know what is going to be their in next semester but our faculty members helps us thoroughly.
Other: Our college every year organises a Annual cultural and technical fest namely ZAZEN & ZEPHYR. And other events and extra curriculum activities are also always been done. Also our college is full Wi-Fi enabled campus.

The review of Orissa Engineering College.
Placements: It is a good college with an above average placement. The main companies include TCS, Zycus, Tech Mahindra, etc. Orissa Engineering College conducts the various pre-placement training and aptitude courses to help the students with the campus placement preparation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with a whopping 20-acres of land. It has a state of the art auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 people. It contains a state of the art computer laboratory, electrical lab, mechanical workshop, microprocessor lab, etc. It has on-campus boys hostel. The girl's hostel is situated in Bhubaneswar with the transportation facility.
Faculty: The faculty members contain both IIT as well as the other university grads with a good track record. The faculty members do help you with the tasks. But, if you wish to pursue CS/IT, it is not the best option, but the core branches have a good ambience.

OEC has a very pleasant study atmosphere for learning and exploring self-worth
Placements: The placement is very good. Major mass recruiters like TCS, Mindtree and Zycus have a very good recruiting capacity from this college. The students also have options for off-campus placements of certain branches and get selected in vivid firms. There are good placements recorded in certain branches like computer science, information technology and electronics departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good with a good number of teaching and non-teaching faculty members. Teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. The classrooms are provided with good teaching facilities and the labs have sufficient pieces of equipment for students to learn and explore things. The college also helps them promote entrepreneurship.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members here are very cooperative and knowledgeable. They are either PhD holders or are undergoing PhD/ Some of the teachers here are M.Tech-qualified from major colleges in India. They have a good teaching technique and have a very friendly behaviour. The curriculum is also very diverse that attracts students to learn something new every time.
Other: The campus has a huge area with a well-established library, an auditorium and 2 big playgrounds. The college promotes sorts meet to entertain students and concentrate on physical fitness apart from mental strength. The campus has 23 cafeterias with good food available throughout the day. The campus itself has a bank, a post office and a police station in it. A proper light facility is there 24*7.

An average engineering college.
Placements: The placements in the college are good. More than 60% of the students got placed with the average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, Adani, MindTree, etc. were the few major companies. There's no kind of internships, but college provides approval for the training in different companies. I have got trained in BSNL for 1 month, and there's no stipend provided. I have paid Rs.6000 for training.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and separate classrooms for every branch students. One good thing is a big library with all the books we needed. The medical facilities are also available with 24 hours ambulance service. A big ground separately for cricket, football and volleyball are also there on the campus. A huge auditorium is there for the cultural events as well as the indoor games. All the students depend on the college canteen, and the quality is also good. The hostel facility is too good as there are big rooms with all the study infrastructure present. But the quality of food is bad in the hostel mess. Till now i didn't faced any issue related infrastructure.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have done their M.Tech from various prestigious colleges, and few did PhD. I will not say all of them are interactive, only a few are interactive, and they explain all the theories with practical examples and the very next day, they ask questions to the students. Of course, this course curriculum is too good for the real lovers of gadgets.
Other: I would say the college is average to study. If you want only a B.Tech degree, then you can come over here. This college is not at all bad. The behaviour of faculty members is good. As I heard from my seniors, we just have to do some projects in the final year, and this is the only one thing we do in 4years of the course.
