Gargi College has a highly secure campus.

Placements: Placements were average, or rather below average. I passed out in 2025. I was in touch with some of my juniors. The scenario was still the same, and even that year only 35–40% of B.Com students were placed. Some internship opportunities were also provided, and students who were placed were placed between 3–6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Even though it was a girls' college, the college didn't have a hostel of its own. The academic blocks, though, were structured and separate from each other. The library building, auditorium, and all were amazing. Also, boys were not allowed on our campus even during fests. Security-wise, our campus was among the most secure campuses.

Faculty: Our faculty members may have been old chronologically. But they had kept themselves updated with the new ways of teaching. DU B.Com (Prog) was a shade lower than B.Com (Hons), but my score allowed me to get B.Com, and that was the reason I chose this course. The course was amazing, and faculty members also taught us really well.

Other: The senior-junior bond in our college was great. When I was a junior, the seniors really supported us. Posts in societies were given only as per merit.

Review of Gargi College.

Placements: In the Commerce department, the placement opportunities are great. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, & PwC are the main recruiters. The highest package is 25 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA, I suppose. Packages offered by KPMG and PwC are up to 4 LPA for audit roles. Moreover, some consulting companies offer great packages. Overall, the Placement Cell is great for the Commerce department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Commerce department is great. Nescafé owned by Satya Bhaiya, is a great place to hang out, and he is a great guy. The canteen is also nice. My favorites are dosa, rajma chawal, & cold coffee. Moreover, we have Mother Dairy on our campus itself. So, I would recommend taking a walnut brownie from Nescafe, telling Satya Bhaiya to warm it, and taking a vanilla scoop from Mother Dairy. Moreover, facilities for sports are also great. We have a tennis court, judo room, yoga room, basketball court, and a very great and well-maintained cricket ground.

Faculty: Faculty and curriculum for Commerce are great. Most questions are asked from PYQs only, so I would recommend doing them. Scoring in internal assessments is very important. Doing projects, presentations, and research papers are great and really transforms the person you are.

Gargi College is a vibrant, empowering space. It inspires learning, growth, & confidence.

Placements: I have heard about placements. I feel they are pretty good. I think around 80% of students are generally placed. The lowest package is around 4.5 LPA. The highest is 10 LPA. One of the highest packages for the internship was Rs. 90,000. So internships are also okayish-good.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The new building block has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi availability is not there. The quality of the PGs is good in the nearby areas. The quality of food is also mid. Nescafe and Mother Dairy keep good stock. Overall, it's good.

Faculty: Teachers at Gargi are well qualified. We have a diversity of teachers, from young to old, and they are quite knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends upon teacher's honesty. I won't say that the course is making students completely course-ready because it somewhat lacks practical experience. Semester exams are easy to crack if you study beforehand.

Impressive placement records and a comfortable campus life.

Placements: Students from B.Com Prog and Hons are being placed at a good average of 6.5–7 LPA. The placement cell is very active in both placements and internships, so I am satisfied. This gives us a chance to secure internships both privately and under the guidance of the placement cell.

Infrastructure: My college does not offer a hostel, but the overall infrastructure is good enough. The library could be bigger, but the greenery and classroom facilities are very nice. Google Chromebooks are being used in labs, and the new building is well-conditioned.

Faculty: Faculty for my department are all very talented and helpful, both academically and for personal avenues. The subjects taught are relevant and have been upgraded in terms of practicality since the NEP. The course and subjects are definitely being made more industry-ready by the day.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and no hostel facility.

Placements: Gargi College provides placement opportunities to its students through its active Placement Cell. Many reputed companies visit the campus. Marketing, content, HR, and consulting are roles offered. Students also get good internship opportunities. The number of core placements is still limited. They are mostly non-technical. Many courses do not get equal opportunities compared to others. The college should bring in more diverse companies. It should also provide better packages and more skill-based training to improve placements for all streams.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Gargi College is decent. It can definitely be better. Auditorium has been under renovation ever since I started college. It is still not completed, which is disappointing as many events get affected. Another major drawback is that there is no hostel facility for students. Since Gargi is a girls' college and many students come from outside Delhi, the lack of a hostel creates a lot of difficulties. The PGs near the college are way too expensive. They are not affordable for every student. Canteen food could also be better in terms of taste and variety.

Faculty: Most teachers are knowledgeable. They are supportive and approachable. One of my teachers is especially friendly. They are always ready to help. This makes learning much easier and more comfortable. The curriculum is well structured. It is updated as per Delhi University standards. The college also organizes many seminars, workshops, & society activities. These help in overall personality development. Most importantly, the environment around teachers and inside the campus feels very safe and respectful. This is a big plus for a girls' college.

Crazy crowd and good exposure.

Placements: I have just started my 3rd year. I don't have much idea. More than 200 students got placed last year. The average package is 5.5 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. The highest is 15 LPA, according to last year's data. Top roles offered are Audit Assurance, Insurance Associate, Marketing Associate, Decision Analytics Associate, etc. Top recruiters are ZS Associates, Deloitte USI, EY, KPMG, Ditto, and ICICI Bank.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide hostel services, but PGs and hostels are available at affordable prices with food and necessities. Wi-Fi is only for faculty members. If you have a Jio SIM, you won't be able to find network in college. Classrooms are well-equipped.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have had great teachers. I can ask anything, and they try to provide everything they know in as simple a way as possible. The course, along with participation in college societies and activities, gives you a lot of exposure. Semester examinations are quite easy to pass if you have attended classes and given your time to preparation during the preparation leave. You can score a great CGPA easily.
