Faculty is good, no hostel, no auditorium, sports ground is good, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: My course is history honours. As there is less placement in history honours, it can help in developing a good base in history. If we talk about internships, there are many internships offered by college, some of them are paid, and others are unpaid.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. The library, the classroom, everything is perfect. The college has a ground as well. However, ARSD does not have a hostel and auditorium, which is the only drawback. Canteen food is not that good, but average. Medical facilities are good. The college has a basketball court, a badminton court and a cricket pitch.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable as well, and teachers are way too good. My course is good, it will make our base strong for further pursuing a Master's in history. Semester exams are not that hard, the score is calculated on the basis of CGPA.

Totally satisfied with the course and faculty. Infrastructure is one of the best on the South campus
Placements: Placement in my college varies depending on the course and the societies that you join. There are some useful ones like enso debsoc flick etc., they are very interactive and even beneficial for the resume. Some societies are not as beneficial as spilled ink, which is the poetry society. It's good if you have an interest in the poetry domain, but for the future, it's of no use.
    Infrastructure: Hostel is not provided.
Faculty: Exams are not that tough, all the study material is regularly provided by the teachers, and they take extra classes whenever it is necessary. Also, help in sending the questions that are important from the exam point of view. Teachers often support and motivate the students during exam time and are also there if any student needs their personal guidance. The staff in my course is very friendly and response, I'm currently in 2nd year and by far the teachers that I have recieved are very understanding and humble. Students in my course are also very friendly. If not too bad.
Other: Political Science at Dyal Singh College is one of the most famous courses, along with history and geography honors. The majority of the students that I meet are from my course or history honours. A good number of seats were offered at the admission time, and these 3 courses, their faculty are very good, and they also hold seminars regularly to provide extra guidance and real-time experience by graduates from our college or people in the same field.

Only opt if you want a DU label in your CV.
Placements: Hardly 10 percent of students got job offers. The highest package for a tech company is around 5 LPA, and the average is around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, SBI BANK, HDFC BANK, and INFOSYS. Around 30% got an internship in some startups and 10 percent in SBI Bank and HCL. I think the top roles are consulting associate.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. The labs are decent, and the classrooms are like government school-classrooms. No hostel is available and it's still in process. Canteen food is good. You can get good samosas, read pakoda, for Rs. 10- Rs. 40. We have a gym also, for Rs. 300 per month. The trainer was good. The medical room is good. Not too big a sports ground but it's nice. You can also play table tennis and carrom on the first floor above the gym.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice. Did not have any bad experience with revision, doubt, and assignment. Professors are corporate. My political curriculum was nice, it was interesting, and I had fun learning international politics and relations. Exams are not at all difficult, it's just important to attend a few classes before the exam because teachers might tell you important topics to prepare, which really helps a lot. You need to get more than 33 marks to pass. If you fail in the 2nd semester, you will reappear for the same in the 4th semester.
Other: I chose Political Science because it is interesting, reading about policies, rules, and laws. It is not too hard to understand, I think some case studies would be better to improve. Events are decent, but no super-famous singer or artist has ever come. Lehren Fest is nice, especially the dance performances by students. The campus is in a residential area, so there is not much to roam, but the Karol Bagh market is just a Rs. 20 rickshaw ride away.

Faculty is good, and the food in the canteen is also good. This is a review of my college life.
Placements: According to me, it was below average because I saw many students who wanted to do internships. But they did not get them, which was below 40%. Regarding packages, they were average. Very few roles were offered. There were hardly any choices. Only a few options were available, which was a big reason for the dissatisfaction.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was okay, but I did not know about the hostel because I did not stay there. Classrooms and the library were okay and good. My friends lived in the hostel. Food and infrastructure were okay. But the food could have been much better.
Faculty: Faculty was good and helpful. They had good knowledge of their subjects and topics and were well qualified. The semester exam pass percentage was a minimum of 45%. The curriculum and course were totally based on the subjects students chose.

B.A. (Hons.) in History - Batch of 2026
Offered by Ramjas College, University of Delhi
    3.6
    3Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Satisfied with most of the things, good infrastructure and faculty, would recommend joining.
Placements: No placement is offered in our course. Students can apply for internships in different government organisations like NITI Aayog, Archaeological Survey of India, National Museum, etc. I am not sure about the percentage of students who get internships from my course, as the internships are not provided by the college, students on their own apply for internships.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, we have the biggest college campus in the whole of Delhi University. We have a huge ground, and different courts, lawns, and garden inside the college campus. Hostels are decent both for boys and girls, currently, they are closed for renovation. The earlier canteen was not good, but now it's fine.
Faculty: Particularly talking about my own department, we have very good, qualified, easy to approach and very friendly professors. Semester exams are not difficult, I would say they are moderate. I am not sure what the pass percentage is, but 98% pass in their exams. Only exceptions would fail.
Other: As I was from a humanities background and I also liked my subject too, I chose history honours, and I am quite satisfied with it. The subjects that are included in NEP, like SEC, VAC, and AEC, are irrelevant as they are not adding any value to our course. So if these subjects are removed, it will reduce the unnecessary workload of students.

B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science - Batch of 2028
Offered by Miranda House, University of Delhi
    4.8
    4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college is so far good.
Placements: To be honest, I have not yet explored the placement opportunities, but based on facts, the Miranda house placement trend for 2024-25 has the highest package of 2.4 LPA. Our college also has a dedicated placement cell that collaborates with various companies and organises seminars for students interested in higher education. Although I haven't attended any, I have heard a lot from my friends about the intriguing sessions and how they proved very beneficial for them.
Infrastructure: IT is "THE MOST" beautiful, well-maintained, organised and aesthetic infrastructure I have seen amongst all the north campus colleges (yes, I have visited many in the north campus, but None can compare to Miranda). There are spacious, well-equipped classrooms with some of them having ACs as well, and greenery surrounding them that helps focus and rejuvenate your energy, and also a sense of calmness. We also have lifts making it accessible for differently-abled students as well. About the hostel, I am not quite sure as I am not a hosteller and don't want to give wrong reviews.
Faculty: Faculty for our political science department is great. Teachers are really cooperative and knowledgeable. They are ready to help even at the slightest convenience. They know their job, and they know how to convey their knowledge to us in the best manner. Apart from lectures, they also focus on improving our speaking and listening skills which will help in our future interviews for sure. Our Political Science syllabus coincides with many parts of the UPSC syllabus as well, and that's one of the greatest pros. Sec, vac and aec have many valuable courses that will help develop many valuable skills.
Other: I have heard Miranda is known for their political science department, and upon coming, I realised that's absolutely true. The faculty, the infrastructure, the crowd, the exposure, everything is just so worth it. It will make your college life 10 times better.
