So far, So good, and improving.
Placements: The placements at Mata Sundri College for Women are average. For practical courses like B.Sc. Statistics Hons, it offers decent placement opportunities whereas for my course, I. e. English Hons, there aren't any exciting placement opportunities witnessed so far.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The college has the largest auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 students. There is also a sports ground, judo room, crutch, seminar hall, fully-airconditioned library. The classrooms are also spacious, and it has both air conditioned and regular classrooms. Hostel is under construction as of now. As far as the canteen is concerned, the canteen food is great. It has a large variety of food options and the rates are reasonable too.
Faculty: The course curriculum and faculty is very nice. All the teachers are really helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. Literature faculty is really good. They are easy to approach and will help you out of the course as well. The course curriculum is diverse and interesting. We had British Literature, African Literature, Indian Literature and other subjects too throughout the course. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. If you have gone through text, you will be able to score well.

Overall, except placements everything is top rated.
Placements: Zakir offers a robust academic curriculum in B.A. in Economics and Mathematics; however, it lacks placement support for this course. Internship opportunities are available for students interested in gaining practical experience.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-rated and has one of the best campuses of the University of Delhi. As a new student, I was really impressed by the senior respect for the juniors. Non-teaching staff are also very cooperative with students and medical facilities and banks are available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and while exams are quite easy for those who study well overall, it has a better environment and teachers are supportive of students. Staff are also cooperative with students passing percentage standards, which are usual for other exams.
Other: I chose it because it was near my home and this college has better campus event management.

I am not satisfied with placements of this college.
Placements: Few students got placed in this course. It is difficult for students to find good internships because this college does not provide placements. We have to find internships ourselves.
Infrastructure: The food served in the canteen is not good. The facilities are average in this college. Sports are conducted such as kabaddi and volleyball, but there is no basketball court.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful. Semester exams are not difficult. Teachers provide notes and materials during exams. The pass percentage is 40%. If you attend classes regularly, you can easily score good marks.

    A gem in DU-Gargi College.
Placements: The average placement offered by the college is 5 LPA. Moreover, to get placed in the top colleges, a student needs to have an SGPA above 9 along with in-depth knowledge of his or her discipline. The top roles offered in applied psychology can vary after you pursue your Masters in psychology as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but not the best. There are mess and canteen facilities that provide quality food at reasonable prices. The library seems very good with no disturbance. The environment of the college is great. Overall, it was a good experience at this college.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very good at Gargi College. The teachers are great with their disciplines and respective fields of work. The psychology industry is really good, with great career prospects in the future. The difficulty of the exam varies from moderate to easy.
Other: The overall experience at Gargi is amazing. The field I am enrolled in stands out as a department in our college. The metro provides great connectivity to the college. The campus surroundings are also up to par. The festival life of the college is also good, with reputed musicians and singers coming annually.

    Satisfied with the college exposure.
Placements: So basically, the course in which you are enrolled is not good for placement purposes. But if you are someone who is looking for knowledge of business along with the knowledge of food and science, then definitely this course is for you. Moreover, it does not demand a very high score in CUET. If you are from a reserved category, you will need to score a minimum of 630+.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is excellent, with Wi-Fi available throughout the college. The washrooms are also well-maintained, and the classrooms have AC. Additionally, it has a very big sports complex. Moreover, it has DU's the biggest library, and they also run various competitive quizzes which will definitely enhance your future.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and cooperative. Seniors are well-behaved and welcoming. Semester exams are very easy to crack; the curriculum is basic. In my opinion, sometimes it goes off-topic, and I believe in the practical application of knowledge.

Q:   What is the fee for BA courses at DU?

    A:

The total tuition fee for BA and BA (Hons) courses offered by the University of Delhi ranges between INR 540 and INR 6.97Lacsdepending on the college a student is seeking or taking admission to. In addition to the affiliated college, BA course fee is also dependent on the specialisation selected by the student for the same. This fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence is indicative. In reality, the total fee that a student is required to pay is much higher than 540 Indian Rupees. This is because there are other fee components which are charged by DU colleges which include application fee, development charges, exam fee and other components.

The below table mentions the BA (Hons/ BA fee for the top 5 popular DU colleges:

More details on the same must be obtained by the students from the admission office of the DU affiliated college a student is interested to get into.

Q:   Is there entrance exam for BA (honours) in DU?

    A:

At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers BA (Hons) across 29 specialisations out of which 23 offered merit-based admission and the remaining offered entrance-based (DUET) admission to the students till 2021. Additionally, the University also offers BA Prog. course across multiple subject combinations (across different colleges) in which admission is completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12. However, starting 2022, DU admission to all the UG courses will get conducted via CUET UG.

Q:   Does DU conduct entrance exam for BA (hons) in political science?

    A:

DU does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to BA or BA (Hons) courses. However, it accepts the scores obtained by the students in the CUET UG exam for UG admission at any affiliated college. Having said that, students can get admission to Delhi University even if they didn't apply for CUET. While the chances of getting admission will be much lower, here are some of the ways a student can get admission to Delhi University without CUET:

    1. Take a chance on the spot admission: You can try your luck at the spot admission process, which is conducted by Delhi University after the CUET results are announced. However, the number of seats available under the spot admission process is very limited, so your chances of getting admission are slim.
    2. Apply for admission through the Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL): The Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that do not require CUET scores. However, the admission process for SOL is more competitive than the regular admission process.

Q:   If I have to apply for BA (Hons) in Economics in DU. What is the procedure to pursue the same?

    A:

The 2023 application process of Delhi University affiliated colleges for its BA and BA (Hons) courses start with the registration process of CUET. The first step is to register for the CUET by visiting the official website of the exam. Find a step-by-step guide to fill out the CUET 2023 application form in the following section:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET and click on the "New Registration" tab. (https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/)

Step 2: Fill in all the required details such as personal and contact details and generate a password to complete the registration process.

Step 3: After completing the registration, move ahead to fill out the CUET application form by entering all the details in the given slots then click on “Save & Proceed”.

Step 4: Upload all the scanned documents including photograph and signature.

Step 5: Select any three courses and universities and after previewing the application form, click on “Submit & Make Payment” to proceed.

Step 6: Complete the application process by paying an application amount through online mode.

Those who qualify the exam are required to register on the DU CSAS portal (admission.uod.ac.in) for the final admission and college preference filling process. Based on the score in CUET UG, students receive admission calls in various rounds. Find a list of category-wise CUET application fees in the table below:
