Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: In my college, placements are huge. Almost 80 percent of students get placements in companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Google, etc. The highest package offered in our college is almost 50 LPA. Overall, our college provides the best placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice and peaceful in our college. It is full of stress. Surroundings are filled with greenery. Labs and classrooms are okay. Hostels are also good, but there won't be non-vegetarian food in college. In the hostel and college labs, the Wi-Fi facility is available.
Faculty: Exams are somewhat lagging due to the lag in the syllabus. Faculty members are very friendly with students. They do not give any rash answers to students. They explain every doubt that we ask. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for jobs in the industry.
Other: I chose the ECE course because it is nice. Faculty members are well-professional.

Placements are less than before. The attending companies require less people.
Placements: College is excellent. They also provide better internships. The packages are also good. The lowest package is 2 LPA. The highest package is 10 LPA - 16 LPA. All non-technical roles are offered more.
Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi signal for labs and classrooms. Library is good. The food in the canteen is available but it needs to improve the food items. The facilities are also good in the hostel. The outing timings are also perfect. The area that is specified for sports is excellent. Medical facility is also excellent, and the response is immediate.
Faculty: Teaching of faculty is excellent. They also provide extra material for the students. The semester exams are bit typical, and the examination paper is also a little hard. The pass percentage is 75%, and the supply of students is a little high. The students are also interested in an industry visit. The faculty teaching is also excellent.
Other: I chose this college because it is in the top 5 and the teaching is excellent.

Honest review by a CSE graduate of the 2026 batch.
Placements: I am a student of the 2022–2026 batch in the Computer Science department. Our placements are moderate. Mainly covering roles like Software Development Engineer and Full Stack Developer, with an average package of 5 LPA. Placements include both product and service-based companies such as Cisco, Typeface, Zoho, Factset, Micron, TCS, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Our labs are good, with decent Wi-Fi and systems in the computer labs. Physics and Chemistry labs also have good equipment. The canteen is quiet, but only vegetarian food is available. We have a decent library with digital facilities and around 40 systems, though the infrastructure is less compared to top colleges.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. Professors hold Ph.D. degrees, and associate professors have M.Tech degrees, with some holding Ph. D.s as well. The curriculum is relevant but slightly outdated compared to current industry standards. Semester exams are fairly easy since it is an autonomous institution.
Other: I am a B. Tech CSE graduate of the 2026 batch. I chose this course because of my interest in Computer Science. I am a diploma graduate in Computer Engineering. It made this stream a good choice.

It is a good college for studies.
Placements: 50 percent of students got placed in Infosys, and 25 percent of students got placed in TCS. The remaining students are trying for GATE. The highest package offered in our college is 30 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. For my branch, Moschip and Microchip companies will come, and we can also go to either TCS or Infosys.
Infrastructure: The college has great Wi-Fi, and we have many books in the library. By giving our library card, we can keep a book for 15 -20 days. The food in the canteen and hostel is good. The college has a big ground. We can play all kinds of sports, like football, volleyball, etc, but not skating.
Faculty: Coming to the teachers, their teaching is good. They will train the students for the future. In our ECE group, there is a person who always gets a 10 CGPA in every semester, and exams are also good. The course curriculum is very relevant. In the 1st year, we will learn all kinds of subjects, and from the second year, we will start studying our core subjects.
Other: There are so many clubs, and we can choose the club of our interest.

It is a good college in Visakhapatnam.
Placements: Placement rates dropped to 30-45 percent in 2023-24 at IITs and NITs, although a high placement rate of 92.55 percent was achieved at NIT Jamshedpur. 100 percent of placements are provided at. The percentage varies like MSU placements at ONGC and Gujarat roads, with opportunities at Badiya, Plants.
Infrastructure: There are labs for the civil department, like structural, geotechnical, fluid mechanics, concrete technology, transportation, environment, surveying, and geology. There is Wi-Fi in the library and classrooms. It has a modern library with books, journals, NPTEL videos, digital resources, and a barcode system.
Faculty: GVPCE faculty are M.Tech qualified and PhD holders. They are helpful and qualified. They use innovative methods like projectors for quality teaching. The course curriculum is updated yearly. There is emphasis on labs or practicals for industry readiness, though a more technical focus is suggested. Semester exams are moderate, easy to tough/unpredictable. Students pass with prior study, and 75 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose Civil Engineering at GVPCE because of my passion for transportation infrastructure, job stability, and design thinking projects aligning with career goals. The best aspects of our course are strong labs (structural, fluids), PhD-holding faculty members, a practical curriculum, a Wi-Fi campus, and sports grounds. It should provide more industry exposure, better mess food varieties, enhanced non-vegetarian options, and consistent extracurricular promotions. It organises tech fests and cultural events. It has a vibrant crowd and good connectivity (Visakhapatnam).

The college has very good placements from 2020 to 2025.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Companies like Cisco, Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro recruit students. Many students get placed on campus, which is helpful compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: The college has lawns and Wi-Fi for internet access. Libraries are available, and the hostel is good, but it is fully vegetarian. The college provides its own data center for network use, which is very useful for students.
Faculty: Teachers provide a positive environment to help students in academics and placements. At the end of the semester, faculty provide handwritten notes and PDFs. The HODs also give positive feedback to students.
Other: Less importance is given to sports.
