SNAP 2026 result will be declared in the first week of January 2027. SIU will share the SNAP result date 2026 in exam notification, due soon. The scorecards of all three attempts will be released on the same day. Test takers will have to login at SNAPTEST.org website to download the result.Β Candidates who will qualify the SNAP exam, will be eligible for GE-PI round of SIU admission.   • Open exam website

  • Click on 'Download Scorecard for SNAP 2026' tabΒ on home page

  • Enter user ID and password

  • Click on login

  • Scorecard will appear

  • Download it and save as PDF

Q: Β  What is the passing mark in SNAP?
A: 

There is no passing mark in SNAP. Candidates scoring more than 0 in the exam are eligible for WAT-PI round of SIU institutes. However, shortlisting of candidates are based on SNAP cut offs, which are between 50 to 99 percentile across the 16 SIU institutes. For example, SIBM Pune cut off for PI shortlisting in 98+ percentile, while SSSS Pune cut off is 55 percentile.

Q: Β  For how long is SNAP scorecard be available for download?
A: 

SNAP scorecard is available for download for about 1 year from the date of release. Test takers will be able to download their scorecards any number of times by using their login credentials. After one year, the link to download SNAP scorecard will be deactivated.

Q: Β  What if I do not make it to the first list of SIU admission through SNAP?
A: 

If your name does not reflect in the first list of candidates selected for admission through SNAP, then you must wait for second list. Colleges release wait list of candidates who are eligible for admission, if the seats remain vacant after first round of admission.

How to Calculate SNAP Score?

SNAP exam has three attempts for candidates therefore there is no score normalization. There is only scaling down of score. Check belowΒ SNAP marking scheme:Β 

  • Total marks is 60
  • Candidate gets 1 mark for every correct attempt
  • 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers

Depending on the number of correct and incorrect attempts, total marks will be calculated. Resulting total will be scaled down to 50 for final score from which percentile will be calculated. Formula of SNAP percentile calculation is simple - calculated w.r.t total number of qualifying candidates.Β

Minimum academic requirement for SIU admission through SNAP is graduation with at least 50% marks (45 % for reserved categories). Higher your academic score, higher the chances of getting selected.

What After SNAP Results 2026?

After the declaration of SNAP result 2026, successful candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds of SIU institutes. Selection will be based on SNAP score and academic record. Candidates will be selected on the basis of exam cut offs. The GE-PI round will be held in February-March 2027. The institutes will release PI shortlist forms separately and the GE-PI round will also be conducted separately. Only those candidates will be eligible for the admission round who shall have selected the particular college in the SNAP 2026 application form.

Final merit list will be released by the SIU constituent institutes individually in May. Selected candidates will receive offer of admission via email and they will have to accept offer of admission within the given time limit. If the seats remain vacant, the institutes will release waitlists to fill them up.Β

Q: Β  What is SNAP percentile?
A: 

SNAP percentile means a candidate's rank against all test takers. It is calculated on the basis of marks scored. For example, total marks in SNAP is 60, so any candidate getting the highest score out of 60 will get 99.99 percentile. Many a times, more than one candidates get highest score so their percentiles are same.

Q: Β  Is the SNAP answer key released after exam?
A: 

The official answer key of SNAP is not released. It used to be released till 2019, but since 2020, when the exam was revised to three session mode, the examination body does not release the official SNAP answer key. Since, the format of the exam now is such that it gives the candidate a chance to improve their score, only the scorecards are released finally.

Candidates can however get the unofficial and memory based answer keys from MBA preparation coaching institutes and study groups. These memory based SNAP answer keys help candidates in assessing their performance by providing them possible answers to questions by which they can calculate the number of correct and incorrect attempts.

SNAP final merit list is prepared on the basis of candidate's entrance exam score, academic profile, work profile and GE-PI performance.

Q: Β  I did not score well in SNAP 2025, can I appear for SNAP 2026 to improve score?
A: 

Yes, you can appear for SNAP 2026. There is no cap on number of attempts in SNAP. One can appear for the exam, any number of times until they get their desired score. However, it is very important to prepare well for SNAP. Only then one can improve score in the subsequent attempt. One should note down their shortcomings in the first attempt and work on them so that they can make up in the second attempt. 

Q: Β  What is the MBA selection criteria through SNAP?
A: 

Candidates are selected on the basis of SNAP cut offs for the MBA admission round which consists of Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). This round is held in February and March after the announcement of SNAP result.

Candidates who clear the GE-PI-WAT round are selected for MBA admission. The parameters for selection also include class 10, 12 and graduation scores, academic profile and work experience. All SIU institutes conduct Group Exercise, Writing Ability Test but individually.

Sectional SNAP cut offs may be evaluated for selection of candidate for Group Exercise, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. Scores of every section will be taken into consideration for shortlisting of candidates along with their academic record. Thus, candidates must ensure that they perform well enough in each section of the SNAP exam.

Q: Β  Is there a provision of marks revaluation in SNAP?
A: 

No, there is no provision of rechecking or revaluation in SNAP. Candidates are already given three attempts to improve their score, thus the examination body does not allow revaluation.

Q: Β  What is a good score in the SNAP exam?
A: 

SNAP total marks is 60 so 40 to 45 marks can be considered a good score. It will convert into about 97-98 percentile. So, it the exam, candidates must aim to attempt 40 to 45 questions correctly.

Q: Β  Is there any SNAP counselling fee?
A: 

There is no SNAP counselling fee to be paid. The fee is already charged in SNAP application fee per college selection.

It is possible but not advisable, as you may not score as desired. It is important to cover the SNAP syllabus too. You can solve questions in mock test correctly only if you understand the topics well.Β

Yes, six months are enough to prepare for SNAP exam. Candidates should start preparation by June to be well prepared by December, the exam month.

Clearing SNAP exam is not the only requirement for admission to SIU MBA admission. Candidates have to also clear the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) for selection.

You can apply for multiple Symbiosis institutes, by selecting preferred colleges in the SNAP application form. Fee per college selection is INR 1000, to be paid along with exam registration fee.
