GKCIET is growing day by day.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and good; the quality of teaching is great. The course is pretty much relevant to the industry standards, it just needs some modification. The exams are conducted by MAKAUT and are moderate. The coolest teachers are from the Computer Science and Civil and Environmental Engineering departments.

If you want to get a good education in less price, you can choose this college.

Faculty: Some faculty members are great and some are average, but all of them are highly qualified. Exam conducting is very serious, and you have to maintain 75% attendance to sit even for internal examinations. If you are non-Bengali, you have to remind your teacher to speak in Hindi sometimes.

Average placement at GKCIET College.

Faculty: Maximum students get back in subjects in the semester exams. But after filling the PPR form and paying Rs 2,00 for each subject, which we get back, most of the time few subjects used to clear, but not for all subjects. After re-checking those subjects, they used to have much different results.

The future is very bright.

Faculty: Faculty are well educated but not so knowledgeable about teaching. Teaching quality is not very good. The course curriculum follows according to Makaut, which is not correlated to our industry-level knowledge. Semester examinations are too difficult.

I'm dissatisfied with the hostel, faculty, and campus placement.

Faculty: Some teachers here are very good, but there is a language problem if you don't know the Bangla language. There is no problem with the semester exams. The pass percentage is 65%. The Electrical Engineering (EE) curriculum provides a solid theoretical foundation through core subjects such as Circuit Theory, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Electronics, and Control Systems. These areas remain highly relevant, as they form the backbone of the electrical engineering profession. However, when...

This is not a really good college. The name is only CFTU, but there is no feel like this.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but the teaching quality is not the best because all come with notes and dictate. There is no scope for being industry-ready. Exams are very bad. The questions on the exam are not what I have read, nor are they what they taught. The pass percentage is good but not satisfactory.

The college is good, but the management is poor. Fees are low.

Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful, especially if you are from outside West Bengal. About 50 to 60% of students pass the exam. The course is good, but it lacks an updated curriculum. The attendance policy is very strict, you have to attend at least 75%. If you don't attend 75%, then you are not able to give the exam.

GKCIET is a peaceful and green campus with decent academics and supportive faculty.

Faculty: The faculty at GKCIET are well-qualified and supportive. Most teachers are helpful and have good subject knowledge, especially in core subjects. The course curriculum is quite relevant and regularly updated to match industry needs. The teaching quality is decent, with both theory and practical focus. The curriculum includes lab work, projects, and internships, which help make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percenta...

Good, but not the better.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified but not experienced. But, some department teachers, like those in CSE, are very helpful. Others are not. Our college exams are very tough, and the college mainly focuses on studies. The exam invigilation is strict, so students cannot copy from each other. The pass percentage is 50%.

Very good teachers and growing college for now.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly IITian, well-educated, and very much helpful to us. They help us with our semester exams and also prepare us for placement. Most of the teachers' teaching quality is very good, except for some teachers. Our course curriculum is slightly different from our courses. Semester exam is too much tough at this college. Getting passing marks is very difficult.

One of its advantages is it has good connectivity. Malda Town railway station is just 8 KM away.

Faculty: Faculty members are average to good. They are generally helpful and supportive, especially when students show interest in learning. While some teachers are highly knowledgeable and dedicated, others are more basic in their approach. Overall, the teaching quality is decent and improving as the college continues to grow.

GKCIET is a great college with really great infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members in our course are really great and friendly. They understand students problems and they take our feedback, which is the best thing about GKCIET. Attendance is mandatory to appear in exams, and the college is really strict. It is very difficult to appear for semester exams without studying. Students those who think will clear the exams before a night of study should be aware because exams are condcuted very strictly.

Hostel facilities and faculty members are good.

Faculty: Other department teachers are helpful. In the mechanical department, students get a lot of pressure compared to other departments. It makes students ready for the job if they prepare well. There are 4 CAs along with 2 practical assessments and 1 final semester exam. As it is connected to MAKAUT, students have to score well, otherwise they will fail. The passing mark is 40 marks.

Review on overall experience at GKCIET.

Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful even though they are highly qualified. Only a few accountable faculty members are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to some extent but doesn't fully prepare you to face the industries. Exams are not so tough. You can pass with bare minimum preparation.

Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Faculty: The teachers were decent throughout the course. But new teachers are being recruited and the faculty is improving and currently is better than previous faculty. Semester exams are decent and students can pass with effort. The course curriculum is relevant but doesn't make students industry-ready.
