Moderate placements, but strong academics and campus life in the Civil branch.
Placements: Site Engineer supervises construction at site, manages resources, and ensures safety for 3-5 LPA. Junior Civil Engineer assists in project planning, drawing interpretation, and cost estimates for 3-4 LPA. Design Engineer works with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and ETABS to design structural components for 4-6 LPA. Structural Engineer analyzes loads and designs frameworks for buildings, bridges, etc., for 5-8 LPA. Planning Engineer schedules and monitors progress using tools like MS Project and Primavera for 4-6 LPA. Quality Control/Quality Assurance Engineer monitors material and construction quality and conducts lab tests for 3-5 LPA. Estimation & Billing Engineer prepares cost estimates, billing reports, and BOQs for 3.5-5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities include smart classrooms, labs, a library, gym, auditoriums, a cafeteria, and sports grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. Hostels are a mix: there are new hostels with lifts and single rooms available from the 3rd year, but some older blocks still need maintenance. Wi-Fi has mixed reviews; some say campus Wi-Fi works, while others report zero connectivity. Overall, it's a green, clean campus with good campus life, including annual fests like Tarannum and Youth Fest PTU, as well as various cultural and sports events.
Faculty: Semester exams at GZSCCET are conducted as per MRSPTU guidelines. If you attend classes, study lecture notes, and refer to previous year papers, you can pass comfortably. Most questions are theory-based with some numericals and design-based questions in Civil Engineering. Internal assessments (mid-sem, assignments, practical) play a significant role and boost your final score. MRSPTU provides syllabus-linked question banks, and professors often set paper patterns from these.
Other: Tarannum is a cultural and technical fest held every year with events such as singing, dance, fashion shows, and drama, as well as technical quizzes, coding competitions, and model exhibitions. Sports tournaments include cricket, football, and athletics. Additionally, there's the Youth Fest / PTU Fest, which involves participation in inter-college university-level events under MRSPTU. Departmental Days for Civil, CSE, ECE, etc., host branch-specific events, model expos, and poster-making competitions.

Good infrastructure, good faculty, good campus, bad placements and bad crowd.
Placements: Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry.
Infrastructure: The college and university buildings are nice, with good architecture. Machines and equipment work fine, but they're old. Hostels need repair, but they are nice altogether. You will not face any problems in the hostel. It’s a government college, so please don’t keep too many expectations for infrastructure facilities.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced and good. They know their fields well, and their academic performances verify it. It differs with different branches, but overall, there are senior teachers mostly who are generally good to interact with. For the curriculum, it mostly matches the curriculum of other colleges or as approved by AICTE. There are also open and departmental electives. Overall, the curriculum is good, matching with your competitive exams. Exams are taken very seriously here. There is strict UMC (from 1 year back) in case someone is caught with chits and devices. Exams are not too hard and are relatively easier than at other colleges. You will not have problems passing your course if you study enough.
Other: This college is good for core branches. If you're coming for CS, you're ultimately coming into the rat race because placements are really dry. In the case of core branches, at least there is exposure in the field, and experienced faculty makes it easier. The college crowd is mostly from Punjab, so the crowd isn't that great, and most people are here for time-pass. The college crowd feels boring, with fests having repetitive themes and programs only. There's no variety or enough cultural exchange. Hostel life is, however, great.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculties.
Placements: Placement is not so good. Many companies don’t attend the campus placement, due to the behaviour of the staffs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good and facilities too are not so good. Wi-Fi is not provided. Labs are good. Classrooms are too bad. Library is good, but you can issue only three books at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful to the students. They are very strict.

In this college, your life will change.
Placements: I think only less than 1% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month because you are a fresher. The lowest salary offered is less than Rs. 10,000 per month. Recruiting companies here are core design consultants and CAD centres. None of the students got an internship from our batch. Top roles offered are a site engineer and AutoCAD designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. There is almost every facility like free Wi-Fi for students, well-equipped labs, furnished classrooms and almost every subject-related study material in the library. The quality of hostel rooms is very good. All rooms are well furnished with beds, a study table and an admiral. The food served in the mess is good, and its quality is also very appreciable. There are almost 3-5 canteens on the campus area, where you will get different tasty food items. There are also healthy food items, and there is also a fresh juice corner. There is a separate dispensary for a medical emergency with well-educated staff members. On the campus, there is football, running, basketball, volleyball, cricket and badminton grounds, which are maintained. Almost every game like chess and table tennis are also played.
Faculty: In our course, the teachers are very helpful and well qualified. Almost all teachers are PhD holders, and their teaching quality is very good and understandable. In our course, the curriculum is relevant for students to survive in the industry. If you study the course well, you will surely get placements or start your own business with ease.
Other: I chose a civil engineering course due to my family business, and I want to expand my father's construction company. The best thing about this course is you are able to know different things which are interesting as well as knowledgeable and easy understanding lifestyle. Like our course teachers, I wish all trades teachers would be the same. Many events and fests are organised. One of my favourite fests is civil related fest named Sanrachna, where you show your knowledge to others by making models, etc.

Dissatisfied with the placements, infrastructure is good and facilities is also good.
Placements: No placements in core branches. Only 10% of students were placed. The highest CTC per annum 8 lacs, 2.5 lacs average and the lowest CTC of 1.8 PA is offered. Companies like byjus, ola, accenture nestle etc. Visited the campus. Technical Sales, marketing, coding jobs and back office jobs were offered. Not many students got internship. Yes, there is a placement cell. It is useful but not that efficient.
Infrastructure: There is facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, medical facilities, Sports and Games all available. All subject related labs are there. Quality of food is good in canteen but not as good in hostel mess. Hostel Rooms are good. Not at all, there is no infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the College.
Faculty: Senior teacher are qualified but they take only two subjects each semester. Teaching Quality is below standards, each year a couple of inexperienced faculty comes and disappears within a semester. Student to faculty ratio is 40 to 1. No I didn't get any industry exposure. Useful but upto an extent.
Other: Events held regularly, Branch Fest as well as College Fest Held regularly. There is lush green campus, not much crowd. Connectivity is great, you can take bus, autorichsaw from the main GATE to anywhere is the city. No college level Scholarship is given.
